Nestled on the North Kent Cost, 75 minutes away from London, Whitstable is the perfect “place to escape for the weekend” (Telegraph).
Famous for its oysters which have been sold from the harbour since the 14th Century, the town balances traditional seaside charms and a strong arts scene which give it a modern appeal.
Recently voted one of the Sunday Times's 20 Coolest places to live, Whitstable is the first beach you will hit going East of London and one of only a handful to have a pub on the beach. Wandering down its quiet lanes and alleyways you'll discover cosy independent coffee shops, bohemian boutiques and beautiful selling delicate, mouth watering sea food brought in daily by the boats.
