10A has been decorated to a high standard and is much loved. The garden is an escape from it all and Mutley's Hut is an extension of the house and part of the tranquil experience. Throughout the flat, the furniture has been hand picked and lovingly placed, with the aim of making it a restful retreat all year around.

The sitting room: has a working gas fireplace, for those cosy nights in, or afternoons after a cold beach walk! With a comfortable corner sofa, which converts to a double bed for those who come down with the family. (Please advise if you require the sofa bed.)

The large bedroom: has a king size bed, a child's travel cot is available if required (Please advise) the room has been decorated and styled to be comfortable and welcoming.

We must stress that we are in a quiet residential area, and would not advise anyone wanting a party weekend, or a boisterous weekend, to rent this apartment.

Whitstable is like no other town by the sea. Its traditional charms, strong arts culture and rich maritime history complement the town's modern appeal. It's main claim to fame is its oysters which remain an intrinsic part of this sea town's character.

Whitstable is situated on the north Kent coast of England and is an old coastal town with a bohemian, laid back atmosphere with plenty to do and see. The old high street has great shopping with unique local shops, café's and bars and just around the corner is the working harbour where you can enjoy the catch of the day or simply watch the activities going on.

The South East England region

Kent is the garden of England in terms of both produce of the land and sea.

In flavour-packed Kent, nature's bounty comes fresh from vine and hop, sea and land.

It may be the salt-marshes, it may be the wide expanse, but Romney Marsh lamb is renowned for its tender texture and taste. Also justifiably acclaimed are Whitstable native oysters; a succulent, tangy taste-of-the-sea.

Kent's so famous for seafood a whole species is named after its main port: Dover Sole is a firm favourite with foodies for its exquisite, delicate taste. Meanwhile, boat-loads of just-caught fish and shellfish are waiting to be sampled all along Kent's 350-mile coast.

Kent, the Garden of England, is also justly renowned for orchards ripe with apples, pears and cherries. Fertile soil, a benign climate and centuries-old expertise create prime growing conditions - no wonder the county boasts Brogdale, Home to the National Fruit Collection. As well as offering guided tours of the orchards, it also has the Brogdale Market Place, packed-full of locally-sourced meats, fresh veg and impossible-to-resist cheese.

Dotted with oast houses and studded with hop gardens, Kent is renowned for its rich beer-making heritage - it's also home to Shepherd Neame Brewery, Britain's oldest brewer.
