Sea Sunset Cottage is directly on the seawall and promenade with glorious 180 degree views of the sea and beach. The cottage faces due west and so the sun sets directly in front of you as you relax on the balcony. You could not be closer to the beach and at night you will sleep to the gentle sound of waves lapping on the beach. The Property is situated between the Neptune Pub and the Oyster Company restaurant on the main beach at Whitstable. There is a set of steps right by the front door that gives access to the beach.
The property has 2 bedrooms downstairs, one a King bed with plenty of wardrobe space, the second is a smaller twin room with a wardrobe. There is also a full family bathroom with toilet and a separate toilet downstairs as well.
Upstairs is a large open plan living area with a connecting door to a good size kitchen. Large french doors open out off the living room to a balcony which faces the sea. There is also a small patio area in front of the house with sea views.
The property also has a small garage that will take a small/medium car so you won't need to find a parking space.
The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher and a washer/dryer so you can stay comfortably.

The Kent region
Kent is known as the "garden of england" with many orchards, gardens and open space. It also is rich in history with historic churches and cathedrals at Canterbury and Rochester, castles and forts as well as many seaside towns with beaches and interesting shops.
The region has excellent access to London and to France as well.
Whitstable is known as the "pearl of kent" , it is known worldwide for oysters which you can occasionally see being harvested from the property. Whitstable has a growing reputation for excellent food with many michelin rated restaurants and pubs, as well as plenty of local independent food shops for making your own dinner in our fully equipped kitchen.
Whitstable has regular festivals and markets, a long promenade to walk right by the sea for many miles along with safe beaches for relaxing or swimming in the summer.
There are regular buses to local towns including the City of Canterbury with its historic Cathedral and excellent shopping.
All in all Whitstable makes a great place to relax.

"Very comfortable, fresh and well equipped, excellent location"
This newly refurbished cottage has been modernised to a very high standard, freshly decorated when we stayed (last weekend in March 2015) and very well equipped. Location couldn't be better, right next to the beach and a very short walk to the Old Neptune, and less than five minutes walk to the harbour, and to the shops and restaurants in Whitstable. Would recommmend to friends and would certainly stay here again.

"Lovely cottage, fantastic location!"
We just got back from spending three nights at this lovely little cottage. The house is very well equipped with all the mod cons one has at home and is very accommodating. The location could not be better - you could literally throw a stone off the balcony and you'd hit the beach. Lots of info is provided to make the stay both in the cottage and surrounding town of Whitstable a delight. Would return again, hopefully when the weather was a bit warmer to enjoy a glass of vino on the balcony and the great views, especially at sunset!.

"You feel like you are on the beach"
I went for a weekend with some friends and it was absolutely lovely. The place is impeccably clean (you wouldn't know it is pet friendly) and has all the amenities that you would need. I always … More
Thankyou, I will pass on your thanks to my cleaner who works vey hard as she agrees that when you go on holiday you want to feel comfortable and at ease. Whilst sitting on the balcony in warm weather is indeed idyllic, as you found even in cooler times being right on the beach and listening to the sound of the waves is fantastic.

Fantastic property and location...the photos don't do it justice. A couple of minutes walk to some great pubs and loads of eateries. Beautiful views and all the facilities you could want together… More
Thanks for staying at our little cottage by the sea. You are right Whitstable is a great place for a few days and as you say the cottage cannot be closer to the sea and is near to plenty of pubs and the high street making a car unneccessary.

"A trip to remember."
Loved sunset cottage. We wanted to get away with our 16month old and the cottage was perfect for us! It was warm & cosy with all mod cons. Breakfast in the morning with the balcony doors open overlooking sea was breathtaking. You couldn t get any closer to the sea. Overall a very memorable stay in perfect accommodation.
Thankyou for describing your stay at Sea Sunset Cottage, I am so pleased you enjoyed the balcony and the perfect location right on the beach. I hope we can welcome you back again soon.

"Just what I was hoping for. A lovely comfortable cottage practically on the beach!"
The sound of the sea and walks on the beach is what I was looking for. The chance to leave the car parked and walk into the small highsreet to eat. To slow down for a week. This is exactly what I got! The cottage is comfortable and so clean. The good TV and sound system we're great bonus. Thank you.
I am so pleased you enjoyed Sea Sunset Cottage and also my home town, you are right its a nice little place to potter around and slow down. I hope to welcome you again soon, many thanks for staying with us.

"The perfect place to have a break just wonderfully situated."
The four of us went for a short break from boxing day for four nights.when we arrived we was really pleased with the beautiful little cottage so warm and cosy.everything was just perfect the comfortable beds pillows just everthing was perfect not a single fault with this lovely cottage. the views from the lounge were lovely. and a nice little pub near. And as for the shops well I did love the little boutiques so nice to see. We ate at the oyster restaurant witch was so lush. Everthing was so so perfect for our lovely Christmas break.the one and only shame is I wished we could have fitted the car in the garage as my husband had to keep feeding the car park every 3 hours.but that is the only one thing but ha ho apart from that our break was Fabulous will definitely be going back have told all our friends and family's and they I'm sure will be going to this beautiful little cottage thankyou Andrew julie.
Glad you had a great time and enjoyed our little cottage by the sea,so sorry that the garage is a little on the small side (though most cars do fit at a squeeze) although there is a close by carpark you can also park on nearby streets for free. Having said that as you and others have found there is so much nearby to the cottage that you don't really need a car at all. Wishing you a happy new year and do hope we can welcome you again soon.
