Sea Sunset Cottage
House | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 4
Sea Sunset Cottage is directly on the seawall and promenade with glorious 180 degree views of the sea and beach. The cottage faces due west and so the sun sets directly in front of you as you relax on the balcony. You could not be closer to the beach and at night you will sleep to the gentle sound of waves lapping on the beach. The Property is situated between the Neptune Pub and the Oyster Company restaurant on the main beach at Whitstable. There is a set of steps right by the front door that gives access to the beach.
The property has 2 bedrooms downstairs, one a King bed with plenty of wardrobe space, the second is a smaller twin room with a wardrobe. There is also a full family bathroom with toilet and a separate toilet downstairs as well.
Upstairs is a large open plan living area with a connecting door to a good size kitchen. Large french doors open out off the living room to a balcony which faces the sea. There is also a small patio area in front of the house with sea views.
The property also has a small garage that will take a small/medium car so you won't need to find a parking space.
The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher and a washer/dryer so you can stay comfortably.

The South East England region

The region has excellent access to London and to France as well.
Whitstable is known as the "pearl of kent" , it is known worldwide for oysters which you can occasionally see being harvested from the property. Whitstable has a growing reputation for excellent food with many michelin rated restaurants and pubs, as well as plenty of local independent food shops for making your own dinner in our fully equipped kitchen.
Whitstable has regular festivals and markets, a long promenade to walk right by the sea for many miles along with safe beaches for relaxing or swimming in the summer.
There are regular buses to local towns including the City of Canterbury with its historic Cathedral and excellent shopping.
All in all Whitstable makes a great place to relax.

"Lovely house by the sea, with beautiful sunset views."
My wife and young daughter stayed for a week here in August. You are right in the middle of everything, there is a pub 80 metres away from which we got take outs and the other way you have the bustling seaside town of Whitstable, with it's many bars, restaurants and shops. Probably a 6 minute stroll along the beach to reach. The house itself is really well equipped, with comfortable settees from which you get a lovely view of the sea and comfortable beds to sleep in after a busy day.
The garage is definitely on the small side our Fiat 500 was okay but any bigger will struggle to get in there. Off street parking is available near by so certainly not the end of the world.
We would all love to visit again soon.

"Lovely cottage on the beach"
We enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay at the end of August. The cottage is right on the beach front, its very clean and well equipped. You couldn't ask for any more facilities or amenities. Whitstable is very dog friendly and we had many long walks along the beach taking in the sunsets. Recommended!
