**Please Note: the NEW Holiday Lettings nightly pricing & tariff calculator displayed to the right, calculates nightly rates by taking the weekly tariff rate and dividing it by 7. This nightly rate is misrepresented, as it does not take into account Short Break Percentages explained in the Tariff Notes section below. Sadly we have no control over this new trend towards nightly 'hotel-style' pricing so please get in touch and we will be happy to help you further.**

The South East England region
Kent is in the South-East of England and consists of many important districts such as Dartford, Maidstone, Ashford, Canterbury and Dover.
The centre of Kents arts is Canterbury inspired Chaucer's Canterbury Tales and William Golding worked in Maidstone.
Kent is easily accessible by road, sea or rail. Indeed, Dover is the closest point to France and remains a hub for ferry travel to the rest of Europe.
Tourist Attractions:Canterbury Cathedral, Chartwell, Winston Churchill's home, Deal Castle, Dover Castle, Leeds Castle, Rochester Castle, Coldrum Stones, Brockhill Country Park and many other that you can discover during your holiday.
This is an area of the UK which contains many walking and cycling routes as well as over 500 years of history.
A haven in the South East, Whitstable has a contemporary atmosphere within a characterful and eccentric coastal setting. 60 miles east of London (80mins by train from Victoria), and 6 miles north of the Cathedral city of Canterbury, Whitstable is most famous for it’s oysters but recent years has seen its contemporary arts scene and restaurants / pubs gather just as much attention. Regardless of whether its a glorious sunny day or crisp winter one, Whitstable's miles of beaches, pretty weatherboard cottages, fabulous sunsets and cosmopolitan atmosphere, make it difiicult to beat!
The Whitstable Oyster Festival 2011 will be taking place between Saturday July 23 to Friday 29 July.
The town of Whitstable has been associated with oysters for hundreds of years, and its oyster festival is both a celebration and a series of performances, in the full sense of the word. Relying very much on custom and tradition, it has a spontaneity that is constantly evolving from year to year, yet still retaining its own individual character.
The roots of the festival go back much further than even the locals would think: in Norman times, Whitstable was an established fishing port, and it was the custom then for fishers and dredgers to celebrate with an annual ceremony of thanksgiving.

"Wonderful space to escape for a weekend"
Arriving at this beautiful house was a joy. We were delighted with the style and facilities it offered and it was a prefect weekend escape from the city.
Whitstable itself is a lovely destination and this home was perfectly positioned for access to the beach, town and local area.
I would highly recommend a stay here.
