The South East England region

This part of Kent is renowned for its calm waters, hop farms and, depite its proximity to London its wide open spaces.

The neaest city is Cathedral town of Canterbury, less than a 20 minute drive away [a great day out] and Faversham made famous by its independent breweries.

Known for stunning sunsets, oysters and pretty boutiques, Whitstable is extremely accessible and you can make it down from London in a little over an hour.

It's actually quite lovely to find yourself strolling along a quiet beach or even better going for a dip on a friday evening, after a hectic week at work.

There's lots to keep you and your family occupied but the highlights are the simple ones, like enjoying a cool pint of beer as the sun goes down. It's a pretty special place.
