"Hideaway was an extremely comfortable and well appointed holiday cottage and we would like to make a return visit"
Despite a slight mishap just before we arrived Hideaway was made comfortable and warm for our stay. It would have been perfect but sadly some of our party were too poorly to allow us to take advantage of the excellent location and great facilities. As it was we were extremely grateful to be able to nurse them in comfortable and warm surroundings with everything we needed to hand. We did find some of the emails beforehand a mismash of information - on one it reminded us to pack a hairdryer at the beginning and then listed a hairdryer in the contents at the end. it would have been helpful to have the information better arranged, with entry and exit instructions all in one place. On the whole though this was merely the owner falling over herself to make sure that we made the best possible use of her delightful cottage - and we could not call that a fault.

"A wonderful holiday, like home from home with sea views"
The holiday home was perfect, with everyone one would need. The bathrooms were plentiful and location the best. A friendly pub/resturant (home cooked food) right opposite, with the Harbour in walking distance. The shops also in walking distance. Lovely to look out to the sea each day from the bedroom/lounge windows. Would definately consider another holiday or long weekend break there again.

"really nice house, great location and super comfortable"
Hi, We stayed for a week with the kids and really enjoyed the comfort, convenience and location of the house. It was directly across the road from a cute english pub (no noise at all) and the beyond that was the beach. The house itself was extra clean and well equipped for a family holiday. The beds were possibly the most comfortable I have experienced in a holiday property including a number of high end hotels....and the huge TV in the master bed was a nice touch. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to get out of london for a bit and wants somewhere comfortable to relax in....which is pretty much what we did as it rained the entire week pretty much.

"Perfect getaway by the Kent coast"
My daughter, our cat and I spent a week at the Hideaway. Our first trip to the Kent coast. The cottage was lovely with sea views from the lounge and dining area. The conservatory was my cat's favourite as she could see all the birds and stretch out in the sun. Kim the landlady was so obliging and cheerful and patient whenever we rang to ask stuff. The high street was a ten minute walk from the cottage with lots of quaint shops and supermarkets. We went to Canterbury by bus and the stop was a few yards away and my Freedom pass was accepted. My daughter spent hours by the sea which was a short walk away. I loved the peace and quiet and flow of the cottage and was happy just to while away the hours there. We am planning to go back for another week later this year.
