Portwrinkle is a quaint Cornish village with 2 beaches, and many more within walking distance. Not only are there many picturesque coastal walks but also a golf course, hotel, pub/restaurant are all within walking distance.
Whitsand Bay / Portwrinkle area
Portwrinkle is a small coastal village in south-east Cornwall. It is situated at the western end of Whitsand Bay five miles (8km) south-west of Saltash and also near the fishing ports of Looe and Polperro. The house is within walking distance of a selection of fine beaches, a golf course, post office/general store and pub/restaurant.
Portwrinkle is ideally situation for exploring many wonderful places in Cornwall, including Looe, Polperro, the Eden Project, the many unspoilt beaches of Whitsand Bay, St. Austell, Truro and also Plymouth.
How to get there
Portwrinkle is just over 10 minutes drive from the Torpoint Ferry, or 20 minutes from the Tamar Bridge.
From the Torpoint Ferry, follow the main road through Torpoint, then continue for another 5 miles. You will go through the villages of Antony and Sheviock. Less than a mile after Sheviock, turn left up a steep hill, signposted Portwrinkle and Crafthole.
From Saltash - follow the A38 through Saltash until you reach Trerulefoot Roundabout. Turn left here, and carry on through the village of Polbathic. 3 miles later, you'll see a right turning up a steep hill signposted Portwrinkle and Crafthole.
At the top of the hill follow the signs for Portwrinkle and you will travel down a hill and see the Whitsand Bay Hotel and the sea on your left. Turn right at the end of the car park and follow the road round to the right, and you'll see the house on the left.

Further details outdoors: The house comes with freshly laundered bedding and towels. The kitchen has an electric oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, breadmaker, fridge, freezer, and a large selection of cutlery, crockery and knives.
The house is an "upside-down" layout, so that the views can be enjoyed from the lounge area. There is an upstairs W/C, and downstairs there is a bathroom and also an en-suite master bedroom, along with 3 further bedrooms (2 of them double). There is also a washing machine available.
