Home description
Welcome to Beach House 2. The house is located on the south coast of Cornwall with spectacular sea views across Whitsand Bay, and towards the beautiful Rame Peninsula.
Situated in an oasis away from the main village, The house is set back from a small, historical harbour and rocky foreshore, leading to a large sandy beach. The House sleeps 2 – 6 people i.e. you won’t rattle with 2 as the house is on multiple levels, and you will be very comfortable with 6.
The house has recently been completed after 3 years hard labour. Built to the very highest standards and offering the finest views in sumptuous luxury. With 3 bedrooms, 2 double and 1 bunk bedroom, 3 bathrooms, state of the art kitchen, TV Den/Games Room with 40" flat screen TV and Home Cinema system, games console, table football, Steam Shower, utility/laundry room and secure parking.
With 14ft high open gabled ceilings, 7 foot high glass windows, there is very much the feeling of the outside being brought inside. Rustic French Oak Floors, under floor heating throughout, and hole in the wall type fireplace all add to the lovely feeling.
To while away those hours there is also a sunken Cedar Hot Tub on the terrace (which is fantastic both in good and bad weather) or why not meander along the beach, or for those energetic types there's 630 miles of coastal pathway to explore.

The West Country / Cornwall region
The house is set within a bay in Whitsand Bay. The area benefits from a Micro Climate with many fabulous sunny days throughout the year, both winter and summer.
The Area and the house are in a forgotten part of Cornwall not normally visited by the crowds, yet close enough to the general hustle and bustle of the main tourist attractions. The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Helegan are all about 30 minutes away.
Just a few hundred yards along the coast are large quite spectacular secluded soft sandy coves, in fact these are so wonderful that its just like being on your own private Caribbean desert island (and that's no exaggeration) The rib boat makes it an ideal way of accessing these and allows you to spend the day having a great time, partying, barbecuing etc
The cost of hiring the boat is £295 per week. We also have a boatman to show you how it all works. He charges £25 for his boat drill.
Whitsand Bay area
Cornwall lies alongside the warm Gulf Stream and its mild climate makes all manner of plants, including sub-tropical ones, flourish here. South East Cornwall is a veritable gardeners' paradise: dozens of wonderful gardens, large and small, public and private, are open to visitors through most of the year, and are easily accessible from here.
These include the famous Lost Gardens of Heligan, gardens of The National Trust and many more properties open under the National Gardens Scheme.
Spring comes early to Cornwall and, at this more peaceful time, the gardens are filled with delicate camellias and magnolias, for which the area is renowned. Azaleas and rhododendrons follow, competing with the beauty of cherry blossoms and primroses. The month of May sees the opening of the Cornwall Festival of Spring Gardens at venues throughout the county - an event not to be missed!
In summer, the roses make the bees, and visitors, dizzy with their perfume and in stream side dells, huge gunneras and acanthus shelter dainty candelabra primulas and ferns. Finally, Autumn turns all to red and russet, gold and claret and bright berries and seed heads adorn the trees and borders. Whatever time you visit, you'll find sights to take your breath away and ideas to inspire.
