One real advantage to the layout of the property, which offers unrivalled flexibility when hosting extended families or large parties of friends, is the fact that part of the accommodation is housed in an annexe to the main house (originally 2 separate apartments). Upstairs are 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 single) an open plan living/kitchen area and a bathroom including bath-shower. Downstairs, again there are 2 bedrooms, (1 double and 1 twin which can be made into a 6ft double if required) an open plan living/kitchen area and a bathroom including bath-shower. The annexe also benefits from having a light and airy conservatory. Access to this part of the house is either from the kitchen or even through its own entrance!

Ideal for large groups, families or social events, the property is perfectly located to make the most of the largely undiscovered gem that is South East Cornwall. Only a stone’s throw away is the beautiful Whitsand Bay - “spectacular” and “unspoiled” are words used by Holiday Which when describing the beach as one of the top 3 in Cornwall! Also nearby are the once renowned smuggling villages of Kingsand and Cawsand and the Mount Edgecumbe Country Park, with its beautiful Grade 2 listed house, stunning gardens (home to the National Camelia collection) and superb views, yet only a few miles further (by car ferry) is the vibrant maritime city of Plymouth.
Whitsand Bay / Millbrook area

Exhilarating golf can be found at the Whitsand Bay Club (5 mins) or at the Jack Nicklaus designed championship courses at St Mellion (40mins) and then there’s the awe inspiring Eden Project (1hr)

Yet with surfing or building sandcastles on the beach, spectacular rounds of golf, whispers of ancient smugglers tales in traditional pubs, walks on the unrivalled South West Coast path, boating and birdwatching on the River Tamar, the lively city of Plymouth with an excellent choice of Entertainment (Theatres, Cinemas, Restaurants, Aquarium, Shopping Centre, Music Festivals etc.) all so accessible, the only problem with staying at Orchard House could be deciding just what to do??
