Home description
Perched above the glistening sweep of white sand swimming beaches that make up the Whitianga harbour, this house is the real Kiwi Experience! Made of white painted wood with corrugated iron roof, it has a real unique kiwi, colonial charm. Large balconies provide stunning uninterrupted views of local beaches, glistening blue water and ruggard mountain ranges. Every facility has been provided to ensure you have a relaxing and comfortable stay - loungers, outdoor dining, BBQ.
When you drag yourself away from that view - the house is spacious and simply furnished, with expansive golden wooden floors (a native timber, TAWA). All living areas face the water and have access to the deck. The huge master bedroom with en suite also has sea views.
Just two minutes walk from the shore, handy for amenities and yet away from the hustle and bustle of the summer seaside town. Restaurants, bars, shops, supermarket and services are all close at hand.

The North Island region

Whitianga area
The deep water harbour of Whitianga is home to an extensive fleet of boats. The marine environment is spectacular with idyllic conditions for boating, sailing, kayaking, diving, snorkelling, swimming, surfing and fishing.
Whitianga though a small town, has a sophisticated mix of restaurants, cafes, bars and a colourful collection of stores. Whether you are seeking a family holiday, a marine adventure, a romantic retreat or just simply soaking up the sun on a beautiful pristine beach Whitianga has it all!
How to get there
In the summer months (December - February inclusive) Great Barrier Airlines has scheduled planes from Auckland Airport direct to Whitianga (approx. time 20 minutes).
They also have charter planes throughout the year. This is our recommended quick, painless, picturesque and cost effective way to get to Whitianga.
Scheduled buses come to Whitianga from many towns - see Kiwi Experience, Intercity Bus Services, etc
Car hire from Auckland Airport via any of the standard carriers (Budget, Avis, Hertz etc all have depots at the airport), or if you plan to leave the car in Whitianga we recommend Whitianga Car Rentals.

Well appointed kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fan bake oven and hob; Separate laundry facilities include washing machine, drier , iron and outside drying areas. With three bedrooms, the villa is ideal for families or parties of 6-8.

Warm waters through the summer months ensure you'll be able to spend many happy hours in and around the water - the beach is a tantalizing 200 meters from your door.
There is plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay - sailing, boating, surfing, kayaking, simming, diving and water skiing. Wonderful art galleries and artists studies are speckled along the golden sand coves and native bush clad hills.
Conditions
A well-behaved dog is allowed but not inside. Strictly no smoking except outside.
Deposit of £150 required to secure booking. Refundable breakages deposit of £200 required on or before arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
Cleaning fee of £40. Payment by bank deposit prefered.
