The East Wing is a first floor self-catering apartment attached to the owner's home, 1.2 miles from the small village of Bettisfield and 5.5 miles from Ellesmere. This apartment sleeps four people in two en-suite bedrooms - a double and twin. The apartment also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire and a balcony with lovely views over the ponds and the woods. Outside there is off road parking for two cars, a conservatory, an enclosed courtyard with furniture woodburning fire pit and barbecue and shared use of the owner's grounds with patio areas, ponds, an aviary and picnic areas. The East Wing is a superb base for visiting the Heart of England, Cheshire and North Wales.

The small rural village of Bettisfield is situated less than six miles from Ellesmere on the England/Wales border. Close by are the towns of Whitchurch and Wem, and along with Ellesmere all three have are worth a visit. The area also offers a number of NT properties and gardens, Shrewsbury, Ludlow, museums at Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site and Chester.
