About this location
The St Davids Peninsula region
The cottage backs on to the old St.David's airfield which is now a nature reserve and Starling sanctuary. The area is ideal for walkers and from Solva you can join the 100's of miles of coastal path that surrounds the area. From the coastal path you can see a great deal of wildlife including the Atlantic Seal which breeds around the Pembrokeshire coast. Also a wide variety of birds make the area their home and there are a number of nearby islands which are owned by the RSPB.
The local beaches are well known for sufing and bodyboarding. Both Newgale and Whitesands bay have life guards from April to September and dogs are not welcome during these months. There are however a number of dog friendly beaches in the surrounding area all within a 10 -15 minute drive of the cottage.
Pembrokeshire is ideal for family holidays and the area is packed with attractions too numerous to mention!
