Turn right as you look up the 199 stone steps that lead to the Abbey and you find yourself in a covered passageway that opens into Kiln Yard. Although only yards from the bustle of the old town, and very close to the beach, Kiln Cottage is located in a peaceful and secluded setting.

Off the sitting room you'll find the inviting kitchen and dining area, where the kitchen's solid oak beam began life as a ship's timber. Upstairs there is a large, double bedroom, a second bedroom complete with bunk beds and a bathroom. Kiln Cottage is a typical Whitby holiday cottage, ideal for those looking for a dog friendly holiday cottage in a traditional location.

The nearest shops and popular sights such as Whitby Abbey, The Captain Cook Memorial Museum and Whitby Art Gallery & Museum are all a short walk from Henrietta Street.

Travelling to and from Whitby is made easy with the train station being only a 10 minute walk away. Alternatively, if travelling by car, there is a public car park approximately 15 minutes' walk away. Whitby is served by Durham Tees Valley Airport located 46 miles away so please allow 1 hr 15 minute travel time for this journey.
