Old Dairy is situated within the grounds of the owner's home and offers unusual accommodation consisting of a bedroom, shower room and kitchen on the ground floor with the lounge on the first floor. This gives the cottage a distinct advantage of stunning views from the lounge. There is also a sofa bed located within the lounge for two extra guests making this property suitable for either a couple or four people. To the outside is a lawned garden area and seating which is perfect for both children and adults alike. There is also a duck pond so children need to be supervised in this area.

There are public laundry facilities 500 yards away. Bedroom: With super king-size bed . Shower room: With WC and hand basin, heated towel rail and shaver point.

All fuel, electric, bed linen and towels included.  Wi-fi internet connection available.  Property has a spring water supply with a U.V.filter, owner has asked guests to boil the water or buy bottled water.

The Yorkshire coastal towns of Whitby, Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington have been attracting visitors for hundreds of years who come to enjoy the miles of clean sandy beaches, pretty fishing ports and to walk along magnificent cliff top paths. The picturesque fishing port of Whitby is noted for its narrow streets and cliff top abbey which dominates the skyline and is well known as the place where Bram Stoker was inspired to write his famous novel ‘Dracular'. Further south lies Scarborough which offers two horseshoe bays both with stretches of golden sands and plenty of amusements and activities; which are ideal for the perfect family holiday. All along the coast visitors will be able to find a contrast of family friendly resorts and quieter little fishing ports which, all in all, offers something for everyone.

Whitby

Fylingdales is a pretty little village that is located in Robin Hoods Bay that offers a variety of good pubs and eateries. It also offers a rocky beach with a great place to search for fossils. The Robin Hoods Bay and Fylingdales Museum is perfect for those who love to gather historical knowledge as it offers many different displays. Horse riding is an absolute must within Robin Hoods Bay as an enjoyable experience for the whole family with a choice of beach, moor and rail path rides to suit all abilities. For those 4x4 enthusiasts, Robin Hoods Bay is the home of the North Yorkshire Off Road Centre offering a huge variety of different terrains to test out your driving ability! From this area, you can also see right along the coastal line and on a clear and sunny day, it is a beautiful place to be. Many 4x4 land rover groups around the country also come and trial their vehicles on set days at this off road centre and it is definitely worth a watch! The Coastal town of Whitby is found nearby and offers activities such as fishing, golfing and crabbing. Whilst enjoying the beach, why not take a coastal cruise as this is the best way to see the beautiful coastline. Whitby Museum and Whitby Abbey are also local attractions that should not be missed! After exploring everything that Whitby has to offer, there is nothing better than tasting some of the local fish and chips! The North York Moors is also a great place to visit as it offers plenty of different types of activities. There are many different types of walks to choose from that situate within this National Park. Guided walks are also available and dedicated routes for people walking with dogs. A variety of cycling routes are also found that range in difficulty to suit all abilities. There is a huge list of different outdoor activities that can be enjoyed on the North York Moors such as water sports, horse riding, motor sports and air sports – which are just to name a few! For those who prefer to take in sights and history in a slightly different fashion, there are also a huge variety of attractions to suit you. There are plenty of museums such as Captain Cook Memorial Museum and Farming Flashback where you can observe farming machinery. Other attractions include Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo, Staintondale Shire horse Farm and Scarborough Sea life and Marine Sanctuary.
