There are lots of lovely walks to be taken starting from Sandsend, which is on the Cleveland Way and the walk round the valley is really beautiful and very peaceful, with ducks, goats and pheasants and a lovely little Church. A good range of picnic food for the beach, also plastic glasses, plates, knives and forks etc. Buckets and spades. Very friendly staff and of course the lovely Fraser!
The Tides Cafe / Surf Shop – Surfing lessons and hire. Sells locally made Trillo's ice creams and lovely coffee. Lovely place to watch the world go by. Belongs to Fraser. Buckets and Spades and beach gear.It is being re-built to deal with high demand and now houses a lovely cafe with decked areas directly on the beach.
