Situated on the edge of the pretty village of Lealholm, just nine miles from Whitby is The Cottage. A gorgeous stone built terraced cottage, The Cottage is very welcoming and has been furnished and decorated throughout to a high standard. The Cottage sleeps three p[eople and has two bedrooms - one double and one single. The lovely cosy living room has a woodburning stove and is set into a stone feature fireplace. The Cottage also has a fitted kitchen with dining area and a bathroom. The enclosed patio that overlooks the stunning Esk Valley to the rear of the cottage is perfect to relax in after a busy day exploring the area. The village of Lealholm has many amenities and walks which means that there is so much to see and do within this area at any time of the year.

The Whitby / Lealholm area
The lovely village of Lealholm is situated in the centre of the stunning Esk Valley within the magnificent North York Moors National Park. Lealholm has many amenities such as a shop, pub, tearooms, restaurants, bakery and Post Office. There are also many walks from the village, but watch out for the sheep that wander freely through the village and along the banks of the river! The wonderful port of Whitby is only nine miles away with the main attraction being the Whitby Abbey which can be reached by its 199 steps. The town also has boasts sandy beaches, shops and restaurants. Lealholm is a fabulous base to explore the North York Moors National Park, the delights of Whitby and the fishing villages of Staithes and Runswick Bay.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
