The Whitby area
The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is well placed for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire’s stunning countryside and spectacular coastline. Whitby is a fascinating town with winding streets and alleyways waiting to be explored, the magnificent Abbey looks down onto the town and the long climb up the 199 steps is well worth the effort. The sandy beaches are safe and popular with families intent on seaside fun and games. Whitby has many other attractions but is also within easy reach of other coastal towns and villages as well as the glorious countryside of the North Yorkshire Moors and towns like Pickering and York. This town is a great base for a holiday in this wonderful part of Britain.

The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
