We'll happily provide travel cots, high chairs and sterilizers for babies and toddlers at no additional cost and kids of all ages will simply LOVE the scrumptious home-made chocolate cake and biccies you'll find in your cottage when you arrive.

In the heart of the Herefordshire countryside, The Olde Rectory offers a safe haven for children. An ancient apple and walnut orchard is perfect for scrumping, den building or hide and seek and there's a mown area ideal for ball games.

We can arrange on-site activities for all ages from Circus Skills to Duck Herding and Laser Clay shooting, something for all the family

The village offers some lovely circular 'door to door' walks and has an excellent recreation ground with swings, slides and climbing frames aimed at primary age children and a football pitch for the older ones. A shallow stream running through the village is perfect for toddling tots searching for frogspawn or sticklebacks and a stroll down the lane brings you to the river Teme for some more serious fishing or canoeing. The two village pubs both welcome families with casual menus to cater for all tastes.

"The perfect place to chill out"

We have been coming here for twelve years now and have stayed in all of the properties advertised in the brochureso I think we are well qualified to pass our opinion of this holiday let. This place has to be the epitomy of peace and tranquility yet within easy reach of the surrounding attractions, somewhere to put lifes daily routines, rituals and worries on the back burner for a short while.
Nothing is too much trouble for owners Gilly and Cliff who will go the extra mile to be accomodating and helpful. Don't take my word for it, go on try it. We know you will love it.
