Whistler is a friendly ski town located in British Columbia, Canada and is home to almost 10,000 residents.
One of the many things that makes Whistler so special is two unbelievable mountains - Whistler and Blackcomb. Side by side, they represent over 8000 acres of skiable terrain, rising a mile above the valley of Whistler
The natives who lived in the region before the arrival of the first Europeans originally used the Whistler Valley as a trading route.
The mountainous terrain is world famous for its diverse skiing potential, and has been named as the host mountain resort for the 2010 Winter Olympics.

How to get there
The closest airport to whistler is Vancouver. From here it is a scenic 2 hour drive to the village along the Sea to Sky highway.
Vancouver airport is served by BA, Zoom and Air Canada direct from the UK and by KLM and other european airlines via their European hubs.
All the major car hire companies are represented at the airport. You can also get a shuttle bus or a private transfer.
