About the home

Weymouth boasts a beautiful sandy beach, with a lovely harbour, Brewers Quay has plenty of good bars and restaurants! There is much to see in Weymouth and the surrounding area with Condor Ferries taking you to the Channel Islands and France. Portland is just a few miles away, linked by the Jurassic Coast with Chesil Beach en route. There are many water sports to enjoy in Weymouth, such as sailing, jet skiing, kayaking etc.

The accommodation comprises of 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, large living area with sliding doors to a huge lawned area. The walled garden makes it very private with large exterior shrubs. There is also a large decked area outside the cottage with table and chairs, etc. Everything is new, including the property! The lounge has 2 sofa beds, giving extra space if needed.

Further details indoors:
There is a breakfast bar in the kitchen with 2 bar stools, and also a dining table with four chairs, but you could use the two bar stools as extra. Outside there is a table and 4 chairs to use with umbrella! There is off road parking, and on road parking for those extra cars.

The garden is huge and very private, walled and scrubbed, it is also a south facing garden!

Everything is completely new and very modern with everything we can think of for your convenience.

There is decking directly outside the cottage with plenty of room to enjoy the good weather, or if you want to play football or any outside game there is a huge garden to run around in.

There will be a deposit required in case of any damage. Saturday will be changeover day.

Smokers are welcome to smoke outside but would prefer if you did not smoke inside property! We do not wish To have pets in this property!

There is also a train station literally a stones throw away from the property, which is called Upwey Station.

The West Country / Dorset region

Dorset has particularly good weather, it can be raining in other parts of the country and be glorious weather here. Just a few miles away Dorchester has a lot to offer with Thomas Hardy country, with lots of great walks!

In Weymouth we have the Jurassic coastline which is very beautiful and a great day out in the car to Bridport is a fantastic way to see the coastline. Portland is an unusual island connected by a road to Weymouth with amazing views of the coastline again.

There are plenty of activities for the children to enjoy with Bowling, a multi screen cinema the beach to enjoy with donkey rides etc. There is also the Sea Life Centre in Weymouth, Monkey World a short ride away.

The Weymouth area

There is a Bestival festival, a children's festival at Lulworth Castle, probably a 15 minute drive away and also Lama Tree festival. There are numerous water sports to enjoy in Weymouth, lovely walks, cycling all sorts.

The nearest airport is Bournemouth International which is about a 45 minute drive from Weymouth. You can get a ferry to Weymouth from Jersey, Guernsey and St. Marlow.

If coming from the London direction it is the M3, then M27, following signs to Dorchester, then Weymouth. If coming from Bristol, Yeovil that direction, simply follow signs for Dorchester and then Weymouth.
