Weymouth, in contrast, is home to a safe clean sheltered family beach with three miles of level promenade, providing access to the beach, Town Centre, Harbour and Country Park.

The house is great - really comfortable, very nicely decorated, light and airy and everything you need for a lovely relaxing holiday (there is a great dvd libary and even bikes and crabbing lines in the garage!). Weymouth harbour, beach and many varied shops, restaurants and entertainments are all within a few minutes walk. There is loads to do and see in and around Weymouth and we would definately recommend it as a brilliant holiday destination and will be back ourselves soon! |

This was our second stay at Tides and it was great to be back. It is a very clean, fresh, light and very well equipped house including a lot of thoughtful and generous touches. The garden with a seating area is an extra bonus. It is perfectly situated for both the town and the beach yet it is in a quiet, peaceful location with lovely views just a few hundred yards away. The owner is extremely helpful and makes a great effort to ensure her guests are happy. It's a great place for children (as well as parents, uncles and grandparents!) and the three and a half year old in our group thoroughly enjoyed his second stay, having remembered his first visit a year previously! We thoroughly recommend this delightful holiday home. Response: It's really lovely to have returning guests :) Thank you! Regards Gillian |

The owners were very flexible and agreed to let us have Monday instead of Friday as the changeover day. We arrived at the house to find all the comforts of home, except for bath towels, which I'd mistakenly thought would be provided. Other than that hiccup, we found the house to be in a clean, tidy and well-kept condition. It was 5 mins walk (if that!) to Newton's Cove, the Coastal Path and the tranquil Nothe Gardens. And, it was also 5 mins walk to Weymouth town centre! The location couldn't be better! There was a folder in the lounge with clear instructions on how to operate all the gadgets and machines in the house, and I would just say to the owners that adding some practical local information (such as best walking route to town, nearest supermarket) would truly help 1st time guests to Weymouth. All in all, we couldn't fault it and had a great family holiday there. Response: What a great idea! Will definitely write up some 'practical info' for our house file and have it ready for our 2012 guests. Thank you :) Regards Gillian |
