The Apartment is part of a Victorian building ,once known as Gordon's House which was a hotel overlooking the Weymouth bay, and still hold's many of the features of the Victorian era. The apartment is on the first floor and sleeps 4 with a main bedroom double bed and a sofa bed in the lounge .It has a large bay window that offers fantastic views in three directions out and across the beautiful bay of Weymouth, also you can see the chalk cliffs in the distance standing proud and regal. The sandy beach is no more than 50 metres from the front of the building ,so there is no need to drive or worry about anything but just relax. The nearest railway station is Weymouth station which is 0.5 km away but if you arrive by car a parking permit will be available for you to use this comes with a small deposit which is returnable on return of permit and end of stay. Weymouth is the gateway to some amazing facilities ranging from Monkey World, which is about a 30 min drive away, Sand World where skills of sculptures in sand defy belief , or the Jurassic coast is just a short journey away where that rare fossil is waiting to be discovered. or the beautiful walks in and around Weymouth offering you views across the bay where the Olympic gold was won in the sailing event, or the beautiful lake where the Swans are so tame they feed from your hand, all this is yours to explore and more .We do have a no pet policy, but we are willing to discuss possible changes to this prior to your booking, there is a no Smoking policy which is non negotiable within the whole building. Everything has been done to make your stay comfortable ,and if you don't want to cook breakfast then we can arrange that for you as well

The Dorset region

Weymouth is a town which has kept it's quaintness, the old harbour with quayside houses 's and restaurant's , boat's and yachts of all description. It also has beautiful walking areas for all ages, coastal view's to just sit and watch and let the day take care of itself, letting all that stress of modern life drift away, and if you are into a more active holiday then Weymouth has it all beautiful safe beach 's for the children with golden sand has far has the eye can see, Weymouth is situated on the south coast ,and is tucked away in a beautiful bay where the sea is always calm giving a haven for most water sports . Weymouth also has it's own Ferry link where you can board the Condor ferry and spend a day in the channel islands ,calling into Jersey, Guernsey and if you like continue on to the port of La 'havre in France

Weymouth has something for everyone no matter what the age , if you like to spend days out then you are in the right place as only a stone's throw away is the Sea life centre, with all the wonders of sea, from Sharks, to sea horses , Otters ,to turtle's, and if you want more, then how about a visit to the Monkey World, where you can walk among the tree's watching chimps, and Orang u tangs playing in what would be their natural habitat. You can even take one home by way of adopting one and having picture's and updates of your primate sent to you on regular basis ,also by doing this you will be able to visit the sanctuary has many times as you wish in the first year for free . Weymouth has some of the best bird watching walks and lakes found anywhere in the southwest giving you that chance to snap that special picture or seeing that elusive bird which can be added to your portfolio. Other places of interest are just a short journey away such as Portland where the famous Portland stone is mined, and because of its colour and robustness is within many famous buildings in London and beyond, Portland lighthouse stands on the most southerly point of the island ,its history speaks for itself

Whilst I'm sorry that this guest did not find our apartment to there liking I would just like to correct some of the issues,(a) the apartment is cleaned from top to bottom on every visit (b)we do not have any night club within our building or block (c) it states in our website that if there is anything that is not working correctly inform us and we will rectify it a.s.a.p. no such conversation took place, (d) the cheap plastic sheet that has been incorrectly identified is of high quality ,with cost's that confirms this, also I would like to point out that we always consider our guest's first and foremost, we apologise for the noise on the street but have no control and say for the policy of Weymouth and Portland council
