"Ideal base for family holiday nr Weymouth"
Had a fantastic week at Granary House - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved every aspect, from family meals in the big farmhouse kitchen to barbecues in the front garden watching the rabbits play in the field as the sun went down. The house had all the facilities we needed as a family with teenage children, everything from the games rooms with table tennis and the Wi-Fi connection, to those essential appliances that make a mum's life easier on holiday (dishwasher, laundry room etc.). We found Granary House very accessible to Weymouth and other local attractions, but far enough away from the hubbub of the town to enjoy the countryside location. I would happily recommend Granary House as an excellent place to stay for families with older children.

"A fantastic holiday"
We stayed at Granary House with extended family - 8 adults & 2 babies. The house was gorgeous, the kitchen in particular, and the living accommodation was very spacious, including a double garage and … More

"Lovely location, excellent accommodation."
We had a wonderful bank holiday weekend in Granary house, the location is superb, quiet and secluded with views over towards Weymouth. Access to areas of interest is easy as it is close to the road between Weymouth and Dorchester. It's also a good spot if you like walking or rambling.
The house is lovely , light and airy with a large dining table in a well fitted kitchen and a comfortable lounge. We were a group of seven adults and found the bedrooms comfortable . The garden is small , but was fine for our needs and lovely for sitting in, particularly at the end of the day with a glass of wine.

"Gorgeous place - highly recommended"
I stayed in this cottage as part of an eight person group over new year 2012/13. The house is gorgeous and much larger than it looks in the photos. The bedrooms were all immaculate and had a great and well equipped kitchen. There's a gorgeous fire in the living room, TV with a number of good films and we even had a Christmas Tree!
The house is surrounded by fields and there are sheep almost touching distance from the kitchen window.
Casey the owner was really helpful and quick to respond to my questions.
My only criticism was the price charged over new year, £700 for two nights was a lot.
That said, we had a great time.
We had a great time there. M
