About the home

Bay Tree Lodge is located in the pretty Dorset village of Osmington, It is truly luxurious with things that most people only dream of having in their homes, the main being a heated indoor swimming pool (perfect whatever the time of year.) Games room with X Box, table football game, soft toys, and pool table.

Great for families and extended family. Weymouth is ten minutes away by car or bus with its sandy, safe, lifeguarded beach. Family attractions include. Sealife Center, Lodmoor Park, Pavillion theatre,as well as fishing, diving, and sailing. all you would expect of a seaside town.

The West Country / Dorset region

Bay Tree Lodge is located on the Jurasic coast, close to Lulworth Cove and Lulworth Castle.Laurence of arabia's birth place and burial is nearby in the village of morton.

Hardys monument is above the village of Portesham. Portland, now theres a place to visit steeped in history folk lore, fishermens tales, pirates, smugglers, press gangs,ship wrecks,( intentional and accidental ).

The museum in Wakeham is well worth a visit. Before you leave Portland, park the car at the car park behind Portland Heights Hotel and look over chesil beach at the fantastic veiws.

The Weymouth / Osmington area

The Smugglers Inn at Osmington Mills excellent food. The Sunray at Osmington again good food and childrens play area.

Weymouth has a new observation tower some 175ft high due for completion in june. Weymouth and Portland are hosts for the Olympic sailing based at the sailing academy.

“Absolutely stunning house, fabulous indoor pool and close to Weymouth.” Just returned from a weeks holiday at Bay Tree Lodge and what a fabulous week we had. My daughter and family are emigrating to Australia in January so we wanted a good family holiday together before they leave. We couldn't have chosen anywhere better. The house is absolutely stunning and the pool superb. There were 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 children and the house is so spacious that we never got under each others feet, but at the same time it retains a coziness. The couple that own the property are a lovely accommodating couple who can't do enough for you. There is a lovely playroom for the children but the pool was the main attraction for them. We just had one small problem whilst there, but the owners came straight away and resolved it. They are really nice and I would most definately recommend this property. I can't wait to visit again.
