Hillside has been fully refurbished and blends the properties original features with stylish modern fittings and fixtures .Situated In a quiet location in Fortuneswell on the Isle of Portland a five minute walk from Chesil beach, Hillside is tastefully decorated and furnished throughout. The property also has a sunny garden with views straight across Portland harbour and Weymouth and Portland sailing academy, offering the perfect excuse to enjoy some al fresco dining. There are a number of pubs within walking distance,including The Cove House Inn and Quiddles cafe on Chesil Beach where you can relax and watch the sunset over Lyme Bay. Weymouth and all of its amenities are close by, offering visitors a wide selection of holiday activities.

On arriving at the house the hallway leads you into a dual aspect lounge/dining room with victorian fireplace, leather sofas, flat screen tv,dvd player, stereo system with DAB and iPod dock and dining table and chairs seating 6 guests.A modern well equipped kitchen leads through french doors to the garden with views over Portland harbour. Upstairs are two double bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a double bed and two adult bunk beds, shower room and a touch of luxury in the bathroom which features a freestanding roll top bath.

Parking is available on the road outside. Decked seating area with table,parasol and chairs for six guests. The garden has rear access and storage space for bicycles. There is even a high level clothesline for drying wetsuits.

“Perfect Holiday House” We absolutely loved Hillside! The house is fully equipped with everything you could need for a self catering holiday as well and being cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our dog settled in right away and loved having daily walks on the beach (as did we) and it was a great base for exploring Dorset. The local shops were great, as was the local fish and chip shop! It had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend it!

“highly recommended” When we first arrived at the property our initial reaction was its just a terraced house. However upon entering we were very pleasantly surprised by the high standard of fixtures and fittings. It was easy to see that the property is well looked after and maintained to a very high standard. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Fully equipped with everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The house is situated on a very steep hill within walking distance to a well stocked local supermarket and an excellent chip shop. Other shops also nearby. If I had to find a fault it would have to be the stairs were a bit steep and caused concern for my 2 yr old. I would certainly stay here again
