Cottage | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 4
Follis Cottage is converted stable situated in a quiet unspoiled area of Nottington, locally well known for its Spa House - a hexagonal shaped property which can be seen from the grounds. A cascading mill stream fronts many of the attractive stone and granite cottages which are part of the charm of the village. Folk Lore relates to the tale of when the local inhabitants of Nottington were asked many moons ago if they would allow a village pub to be built - it was flatly refused! A handy supermarket lies only a five minute car journey away, a closer petrol station within walking distance provides the morning papers etc. The historic county town of Dorchester is only five miles away and the beach at Weymouth with its golden sands only two miles. The Owners live within the grounds and are more than happy to offer advice and local knowledge when asked whilst respecting customer's privacy.

The West Country region
Dorset is a county with lots to offer, from astounding natural landmarks such as the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, the beautiful Golden Cap and the popular natural cove at Lulworth to the lively seaside towns of Weymouth, Swanage and Lyme Regis. A week (or longer) self catering holiday in Dorset gives you the time to really soak up the history, feel and beauty of the region, taste the fine local cuisine and enjoy a break from the hectic pace of town or city life.
Weymouth is one of the most popular seaside destinations in the UK. Its well known esplanade and sandy beach stretches for two miles and the town is famous for offering a traditional seaside holiday to visitors. It was also chosen to host the 2012 Olympic sailing events.
