"Lovely cottage on Portland"
We stayed at Rosa Cottage for a week in July, and had a wonderful time. The cottage is spacious and beautifully furnished, and in an ideal location to explore Portland. Only a couple of minutes walk to Chesil Beach and a short drive to the National Sailing Academy. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped for self catering . Beds were comfortable and we very much enjoyed the spacious dining room for long lingering suppers. Having 2 children the separate lounge was also very handy for them to watch TV in the evenings. Parking was easy right outside the cottage most of the time, a couple of times we had to park in the road above, but only as minute walk from the property. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return sometime later this year.

Thank you for taking the time to review my cottage. It is always useful to get feedback from guests. I am glad you enjoyed the cottage, but I feel I must point out that the bathroom has frosted windows, so it is totally private. However, as other guest might also feel the need for an additional blind, I have now fitted one.
I would also like to point out that none of the neighbours have a dog - so any barking noise must have come from one of the nearby holiday cottages. It is usually a very quiet street but there were a lot of extra visitors during August and the Olympics as expected.
