With attention to detail, the apartment is a wonderful place to stay in any season.
The property has an open plan living area,with a well-equipped kitchen, There are two double bedrooms, one with an en suite shower room, as well as a family bathroom. All rooms have a sliding door to the large private balcony, which comes complete with a hot-tub, furniture and a patio heater, so you can enjoy the views in any season.

Travel cot, high chair, steriliser, children's toys, games and dvds.(We do not provide bed linen for the travel cot)
The apartment is exceptionally well-equipped, with families of young children in mind as well as being a great base for an adult holiday or a romantic retreat for two.
The apartment has been graded as 5* by the Visit Britain quality assessment scheme.

Devonshire is a maritime county, 280 miles in circumference - 130 miles of which are coastal. It has a unique and varied landscape including some of the most stunning coastlines and beaches in Britain, the rolling hills of Tarka Country, and the wilds of remote Exmoor. North Devon has a lot of history and has long been a favourite holiday area due to the range of activities on offer.
The area is also home to many Myths & Legends including:
Lundy Island off the North Devon coast, is reputed to be the entrance to Annwn, a place in Welsh mythology where souls that had departed this world went to. It was essentially a world of delights and eternal youth, where disease was absent and food abundant. Now a National Trust property, it is still a favourite place to visit, Ferry crossing available from Bideford or Ilfracombe.
Chambercombe Manor, near Ilfracombe, is reputedly one of the most haunted dwellings in the UK. One of several legends that attempts to explain the mysterious female skeletal remains at Chambercombe Manor found in 1865, is that they are of the owners' daughter who was found shipwrecked on nearby rocks. Her footsteps are heard walking along corridors, and a low moaning has been heard emanating from the former secret room where her remains were found.
Bideford saw the last ever hangings for witchcraft in England. The Bideford Witch Trial saw Temperance Lloyd, Mary Trembles and Susannah Edwards tried and punished in 1682.Nowadays Bideford is home to one of the best New Year’s Eve parties in Britain.
Many TV dramas have been filmed in the region, most recently BBC1's drama, Sense and Sensibility,which was shot in the Hartland area of North Devon.
The Westward Ho area
Westward Ho! is a seaside town a few miles from Bideford and ten miles from Barnstaple, North Devon's main town. Westward Ho!'s main attraction is the ten mile beach which gained 'blue flag' status five years ago. It is host of a range of water and beach sports such as surfing, windsurfing and of course swimming, The North Devon coastal footpath is accessible from the apartment and not far away are the picturesque villages of Hartland and Clovelly.
Westward Ho! has some good local shops and restaurants within the town itself and many more to be found within a 10 minute drive.
The local area provides an enormous variety of outdoor activities such as:
Walking, Horse-riding, Golf, Surfing, Fishing, Windsurfing, Sailing, Boat trips. Westward Ho! is home to the oldest golf course in England, The Royal North Devon Golf Course.
There is a whole host of other attractions and places of interest to visit along with the great beaches - One of the best is right on the doorstep. Westward Ho!'s two miles of golden sands is a BLUE FLAG beach with Northam Burrows behind. As the tide goes out hundreds of rock pools appear. Westward Ho! also has its own surf school for both adults and children. A short drive away are Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton, which are amongst the finest beaches in Europe
The apartment and surrounding area lends itself to doing as much or as little as you please, but you are sure to want to return again and again, to enjoy all they have to offer.
