Westward Ho

The Westward Ho! Blue Flag beach, one of the biggest attractions of the area. The beach has two miles of golden sand and is backed by the famous and unique pebble ridge linking to the Northam Burrows Country Park. There are lots of activities to do at the beach including swimming (there is also a tidal sea pool), kite surfing, body boarding, surfing and windsurfing. There are good facilities at the beach including café's, deckchair hire, first aid, lifeguards and lost child centre. The beach has good disabled access and there is a pay and display car park with disabled parking bays. An eye catching part of the beach is the rows of traditional beach huts.
