The spacious, heated accommodation has three bedrooms to sleep six - a double with sea views, a twin and a third bedroom with bunk beds. There is a lounge/diner with comfortable seating and dining table and chairs. The lounge also has all the comforts of home including TV and DVD player, along with games and books to help you feel at home. A separate wc with sink and shower room with vanity unit makes it ideal for sharing.
The kitchen is fully equipped with full oven, grill and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle and toaster.

The property is very well maintained and every effort is made to make our guests feel at home.
The kitchen has an oven and hob, all the cooking utensils needed (but you're on holiday, try a local restaurant!). The lounge is spacious with plenty of room for families.
A separate toilet and sink is ideal and saves queueing!

There is a lovely sheltered, private and sunny patio to the rear of the accommodation, and a balcony overlooking the lawned area and sea. There is plenty of room for playing or sitting outside, and a small children's playground.
There is a tidal pool in the rocks with sunbathing areas just by the promenade which has lifeguards in summer.
Rental rates are fully inclusive of linen, cleaning, utilities etc. Cots, high chairs and wheelchair can be hired for £1 per day.
The West Country region
North Devon offers the perfect holiday location, with huge beaches and sandy coves, rugged moors and picturesque villages. There are plenty of family activities and days out to choose from.
The beach at Westward Ho! stretches into the distance and is never crowded. There is plenty of room on this Blue Flag beach for sand castles, beach cricket, rounders, or a more gentle game of boules. It's one of the best areas for surfing and was the venue for the Atlantic Watersports Games 2011.
Golden Bay is ideally positioned for exploring the beautiful unspoilt countryside, beaches and coves of North Devon and Cornwall. Westward Ho! facilities include golf, walking, surfing, go-karting, mini golf, sand yachting, horse riding, fishing and canoeing. There is a swimming pool built into the rocks which has daytime lifeguards. Exploring the rock pools is a popular pastime, as is crab fishing off the quay at nearby Appledore.
Westward Ho! nestles under the Tors, leading directly onto the North Devon coastal path which continues for the next 126 miles to Lands End. To the east is Northam Burrows and the Royal North Devon Golf Club, which is England's second oldest club. There is also a course at Saunton Sands, a twenty minute drive away.
Around the headland lies the ancient port town of Bideford. The quaint fishing villages of Clovelly and Appledore are close by. The market town of Barnstaple is a short drive away with its many High Street shops and indoor shopping centre. A couple of miles away is The Atlantic Village – a Factory Outlet centre boasting famous names at greatly reduced prices, including children's activities and many cafés. There are local fishing trips, boat trips and even a helicopter ride to to Lundy Isle. Local attractions for all ages also include the Big Sheep.

"Lovely chalet, great location, fantastic beach!"
The perfect get away for anyone wanting a traditional seaside holiday. The chalet was fully equiped and spotless, in a small holiday park with direct access to the beach ( and rock pools ) literally 2min walk from the village centre yet quiet. The beach/swimming are superb and very child friendly. It was nice to be able to sit at the dining table looking at the sea! Westward Ho! is a nice little village with everything you need, butcher, baker, post office, couple of pubs and a two supermarkets. We'll definitely be back there again, thank you Ros and Pete for a lovely stay!
