This attractive Victorian house is situated on a quiet private no through road in an elevated position, with enviable views over Westward Ho! beach, Bideford Bay and beyond to Saunton Sands.

A 5 minute stroll, via the public footpath situated almost opposite the house, will take you down to the seaside village of Westward Ho! with its renowned golden sands and surf. It is an ideal base from which to explore all that North Devon has to offer. You can make use of the many surf schools, enjoy a round of golf at Royal North Devon Golf Course, go horse riding at the Follyfoot riding centre, play a set or two of tennis on the public courts. You can also walk along the coast path and take in the spectacular sea views towards Bucks Mills, Clovelly or Instow. Nearby attractions such as The Big Sheep and The Milky Way offer a great day out for all ages, both having indoor play areas should the weather be wet. The larger town of Bideford has a wider selection of shops, pubs and restaurants and the neighbouring smaller fishing village of Appledore with its bustling quayside, quaint little streets and maritime connections is also worth a visit.

The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: 1 double room and 1 twin room both with spectacular sea views and 1 further twin overlooking the courtyard. Bathroom: downstairs with shower over bath and WC. Upstairs cloakroom with WC. Lounge: large with multi-fuel woodburner, comfy sofas, wooden floor and Freeview TV/DVD. Kitchen/diner: with a 'hole in wall' gas fire, hi-fi and dining table, small step up to kitchen area with integrated appliances such as dishwasher, fridge/freezer, double electric oven and hood, gas hob and washing machine. Outside: from the kitchen there is access to a small courtyard and a few steps lead to a second courtyard with decking, seating and shed containing BBQ, wetsuits and belly boards for guests use. There is also a sloped woodland garden across the private lane from the house, with steps leading down to a secluded deck area with seating and views over the beach and sea. Amenities: allocated roadside parking space plus an additional off-road parking space. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and wi-fi included. Regret no smoking. 1 dog welcome. Additional info: fuel for fire is provided in the shed. 2 clothes airers are provided. Location: pubs, restaurants and shops all within a short walking distance. Arrival: 3pm.
