Spacious three bedroom chalet, with fabulous views over Bideford Bay. The chalet is located in the seaside town of Westward Ho!, just a short walk from the beach, shops, restaurants and local entertainment. The chalet consists of one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, and a childrens bunk room. There is a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable open plan living room with television, dvd player and free wifi. On site facilities include a staffed reception, and laundry. The chalet and site are wheelchair friendly. Great for children, with large grass areas for play right outside the chalet. Fabulous rock pools and beach only 2 minutes walk.

The living area consists of two sofas, a television and dvd player. There are ample storage facilities throughout the chalet.

There is a separate toilet, and a bathroom with bath and shower facilities.

The double bedroom has a double bed and views of the sea, the twin room has two single beds. Both rooms have large wardrobes. The childrens room has bunk beds and a chest of drawers.

The kitchen is well equipped with hob, oven, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle and microwave. There is crockery and cutlery to easily cater for 6.

The chalet has a terrace at the front, with tables and chairs that offers a great view of the sea and across the bay to Saunton.

There is also a sun trap at the back of the chalet, with table and chairs, and a shed containing some beach equipment.

The site has a large secure car park only 30 seconds walk from the chalet.

In front of the chalet is a large grass area for children to play.

The West Country region

Westward Ho! is situated on the North Devon coast. The beach is famous for surfing, and kite boarding. There are great coastal walks directly from the property, and the Tarka cycle trail can be accessed in Bideford, about 4 miles away. There are numerous other beaches to explore within an hours drive, namely Croyde, Woolacombe, and Ilfracombe. Clovelly is half an hour away, and the eden project in Cornwall can be reached in less than 2 hours.

Westward Ho

Westward Ho! has numerous cafes and restaurants as well as shops providing all you will need for your holiday. There are also lots of activities for children, including go karting, mini golf, and fair type activities for young children. There are also four or five pubs in the town.

"requires complete refurbishment"

When we arrived the chalet was cold with a smell of damp. We found many wood lice. The whole place is in need of refurbishment. Would not reccomend this place unless it is updated, which is a pity bec… More

I'm sorry you felt this way, unfortunately there is always a smell of damp at the start of the season, the site is closed throughout January and February. I will speak to the cleaners about the woodlice, that is unacceptable. Refurbishment is a little unfair, the chalet was completely refurbished three years ago, and other reviewers have commented on the good standard.

"Convenient and practical"

The property provides clean, basic accommodation in an ideal location for the beach and facilities in The Ho!
....and the views from the front of the property looking out across the bay!!!

"Perfect location, clean and bright with view of the sea."

My booking was at short notice and for only 2 nights and the owner was very accomodating. The chalet was perfect, you have views to the sea from lounge and terrace across a well kept lawn, it was clean and bright and actually bigger inside than it appears from outside.

Unbelievable value, great location and excellent facilities - ideal for our family group (mum, dad, 2 kids and wheelchair bound grandma). We all loved it and will try to book again for our 3rd stay ASAP. Owner extremely helpful and efficient. Highly recommended!
