House | 7 bedrooms | sleeps 14
Imagine a property set within the heart of 163 acres of undulating Surrey Countryside and nestling beside a Historic Grade II * listed mansion and you have conjured up an image of Longley House. This hidden gem is situated within the grand and exclusive Addington Palace Estate. The Palace, upon which lies the site that Henry VIII had a hunted lodge for reputed clandestine meetings with Anne Bolyn was also home to no fewer than six Archbishops of Canterbury who used this opulent retreat as their somewhat grandiose summer residence between 1805 and 1896. In more recent times the Palace now offers luxurious facilities for weddings and private events and also offers an exclusive Country Club.
Being affiliated within the Addington Palace Estate, residents are welcome to use the health and fitness facilities in this historic Palladian Mansion as well as receive concessionary rates on pamper days along with spa and beauty treatments...for more active pursuits, being set within two golf courses, you are treated to two stunning courses literally on your doorstep! in addition to a further six in the nearby locality.
This listed property offers six large double bedrooms furnished to an extremely high spec with the added bonus of all being en-suite. A large communal lounge and Kitchenette is a great area for socialising and can also be used as additional accommodation providing for between 12-16 guests. The outside is equally impressive with views of the surrounding countryside from all rooms and a large walled garden offering privacy and seclusion for all the family. The patio provides the perfect area for social gatherings and BBQ's and with an abundance of restaurants a short distance away you are well and truly catered for in every sense of the word...so whether it be a mini golfing break, short let family retreat, weekday business stop-overs or a base to explore London and the surrounding area with friends and family look no further than Longley House...
