West Linton is a beautiful Scottish Borders village. It is surrounded by stunning paths for walking and cycling; amazing hills for climbing and exploring; lovely country shops - both functional and gifty. It has a couple of excellent restaurants and a superb golf course. There are a number of local horseriding facilities and several local art galleries, delicatessens and coffee shops.

The hair and beauty salon is wonderfully contemporary - not at all what you would expect to find in a little village! We will make any arrangements you require for local amenities and as we run the hair and beauty salon - we are at your service!

The Lothians region

Covering about eighteen hundred square miles, the Scottish Borders stretches from the rolling hills and moorland in the west, through gentler valleys to the high agricultural plains of the east, and on to the rocky Berwickshire coastline with its secluded coves and picturesque fishing villages.

In the bright spring months, fresh new growth fills the valleys and forests of the Scottish Borders. Enjoy time to spare with the lure of lighter longer summer days or relax in more mellow shades of autumn when mauves and purples tint the moors. Rivers and paths wind their way through untouched natural beauty whilst the more gentle pace of life subtly relaxes and revives you. Seasonal changes await to delight, every day at every turn. Crunch through the crisp frosts of winter, when early morning mist floats over the lowlands, and the snow capped hills sparkle in the distance. Land and sea, hills and moorland all sit happily side by side.

The Scottish Borders is truly a destination for all seasons!

West Linton

Situated 17 miles southwest of Scotland's capital Edinburgh, is the Scottish Borders village of West Linton, Peeblesshire. Settlements in the area date back to the Iron Age.

"Lovely amenities but"

The property and its fittings are excellent and as advertised. It would be difficult to not be comfortable here. Margaret and Chris are a nice couple and showed us the unit and took our money (inclu… More

We are sorry that you found that we were not as helpful as you would have wanted we will take this on board with future bookings. We do feel that when people are staying in our apartment that we don't want to interfere too much with their holiday but would always be willing to help if asked for an local advice.
With regards to appointments in the salon this is something that was very unfortuate that you never got an appointment for 3 days, if you had mentioned when booking that you had wanted any treatments we would have organised this and it would not have been a problem.
I can only appologise for your issues with dropping off the key and with regards to your deposit this never usually happens that we would all be away, we should have let you know in advance.
With regards to delivery lorry, car alarm these are unfortunately things that can happen and I'm sorry that they upset your stay.
I hope that you can accept our appology and we will take on board the points you have made.
