"Hidden beauty!"

This place had everything we needed.
Whislt the kids ran around the garden for the majority of the day, the games room in the evening was a perfect combination.
We adults had a wonderful time catching up with the log burner making it ever so authentic.

Recommeded? - Absolutly

"A comfortable, spacious property with lots going for it"

Stayed with my wife, two teenagers and the dog. Nice peaceful week spent during October 2013. The location of the cottage, being set back from the road, is quite secluded and it is not overlooked due to the large garden and trees. The cottage is very roomy, tastefully decorated and has some nice extra touches such as the hot tub and games room with Wii - great for indoor activities if it rains (which it did!).

Liverpool and Chester are both only about 25 minutes drive by car - good for shopping. There is also a large Tesco supermarket and Marks and Spencer Simply Food within a couple of minutes drive in Heswall town but the property itself is tucked away from the hustle and bustle in a pleasant residential area.

A lovely welcome from the owner who was charming and helpful. Some useful literature on local amenities, pubs, restaurants and attractions was thoughtfully provided too. All in all a great little cottage for a relaxing break.

Thank you for your feedback. We are made up that you had the ability to enjoy Witchwood for the beauty and peacefulness it offers.
We hope to see you again soon.
Best wishes

"Very pleasant and peaceful"

What a lovely place to stay. So quiet and peaceful the only distraction was the wildlife!

Good facilities and great accommodation.

Glad you enjoyed the peaceful woodland setting, we also get distracted listening to the birds and watching the squirrels chase each other in the trees. It really does provide a setting in which it can provide as much or as basic in terms of nature as one desires.
We hope to see you again.
With Best regards

"Understated, and the photos dont give enough justice"

We stayed at Witchwood in July. The cottage was more than we could ever have expected. The location is beautiful and being within this forest like area, you could be in the middle of no where (although logistically your not, which is great).
We were worked up in the mornings not by our alarm clocks, but by the birds. Taking life back to the basics is what we enjoyed here so much. Although there was the ability to play on the wii and watch the TV, we spent most of our time outside in the garden/woods :). We had BBQs and on one evening we all made a bonfire, something we haven't been able to do with the kids before.
We cant recommend highly enough, we will book again

Your feedback really does mean a lot to us thank you.
We are over the moon to hear that you had a great time at Witchwood, and couldn't agree more on the fact that when you there, you feel like you could be "in the middle of nowhere"
Hope to see you again
All the Best
