Edinburgh is an UNESCO World Heritage site with many of the historic landmarks easily accessible from apartment.

Edinburgh is called the 'Festival City' - Home of the Edinburgh Fringe, Edinburgh International Festival, Jazz and Blues Festival, Film Festival and many others.

Edinburgh Zoo - home of the pandas is near the apartment.

Various walkways and cycle paths throughout the Lothians and Edinburgh.

West End

Ravelston, in the west side of Edinburgh, is a tranquil residential area with parks and walkways. The Water of Leith is only 5 minutes from the apartment - this is beautiful way to walk or cycle to Stockbrdige, Murrayfield even all the way to Leith.

The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art is directly behind apartment, with great cafes for breakfast and lunch.

The apartment is walking distance (approx 15 min ) to pubs, restaurants, shops, city center and major attractions. Stockbridge (15 min walk) offers specialist food stores and a twice weekly Farmers Market.

There is also a good regular bus service to the city center and all major attractions.

"Very quiet home away from home"

We stayed at the west end condo at the end of a road trip around the UK. It was a lovely holiday rental nestled in the middle of a very nice neighbourhood. The apartment was very well equipped and everything was of a very high standard. The owner had provided good information for everything in the apartment as well as local activities and places to eat. It was fantastic to be able to stay here for a few days before our long trip back to New Zealand. Thank you for providing such a great stay for our holiday.

So glad our place helped you have a good end to your holiday and it had what you needed

"Great base to visit Edinburgh with family"

We visited for a short break over Easter with our two teenage children and had a great time. Right next door to the Modern Art Museum, so handy for their transport bus for a £1 straight into Princes Street if art is your thing. Very well appointed with modern kitchen and bathrooms, although I was defeated by the induction hob as I don't have one myself (there are instructions available and also a microwave ). Very comfortable and relaxing, and the owner extremely helpful. About 25 minutes pleasant walk back from town if you need to. We would go back.

"Amazing place to spend NewYear"

So glad we chose this apartment to spend NewYears Eve. We have stayed in many places and this is amongst the best. It is beautifully presented, spacious and very clean. We were amazed by the bathroom and kitchen so much so it has made us want to modernize our own to the same level. The kitchen is so hi-tech, modern and beautiful and absolutely everything you could possibly need, and more, is provided. Karen is so helpful from start to finish she was there when we arrived and answered any questions we had regarding our stay in Edinburgh her advice was invaluable, she contacted us throughout our stay to check things were ok. We were slightly concerned that the apartment was located a short distance from the centre however it was easy enough to walk and taxis were cheap quick and reliable even over NewYear so we needn't have worried. We will definitely return to this apartment when we next visit Edinburgh.

Sorry to not respond to your review sooner. We are absolutely delighted you enjoyed your stay at the New Year We hope now spring has arrived in Edinburgh you will come back again and see our beautiful city in full bloom. "Brilliant Place to stay"

This was great accommodation, easy access to city centre and surrounds and off street parking. The welcome bonus pack was one of those bonus extras which makes all the difference.

"Fabulous!"

The flat is gorgeous, clean, light, beautifully decorated with all mod cons - we had a lovely time, great location especially as we wanted to go to the Gallery of Modern Art which is just round the corner. We were three friends - ample space and would certainly recommend it and return!

"Beautiful Flat and wonderful owner"

Really had a great time in Edinburgh with the help of this lovely flat! The owner was lovely and helpful at recommending places. Very high spec throughout the accommodation and will stay here again in the future should i visit again.

"Excellent accommodation in a lovely, quiet residential area"

This is a superior apartment in a quiet, leafy street which is only a 15 minute walk to Princes Street. The accommodation is bright and spacious with tasteful décor and is very well equipped. Karen provided quick, efficient service when I booked and replied promptly to subsequent e-mails. I would certainly recommend this apartment and would not hesitate to book again myself.

"very confortable"

"Fantastic apartment"

This is the second time we have stayed in this apartment in 6 months (unheard of for us) and this was just as good an experience as the first. Very comfortable, clean and attractive apartment in good, quiet location with parking. Can't be bettered.
