The Vine is a newly refurbished two-bedroom maisonette sleeping 4, situated just a two-minute walk from West Byfleet station where 3-4 trains per hour run to London taking 30 to 40 minutes. The Vine has a cosy cottagey interior with fireplace and wood-burning stove. The 36-inch backlit LED wall-mounted flatscreen TV has a Virgin Media cable multi-channel service and Wi-Fi broadband. One bedroom has a double bed, the other has twin 2'6' beds. The good-sized separate kitchen is equipped with five-burner gas hob, double electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer and full-size dishwasher. It has a generous worktop area and the usual electric kettle and four-slice toaster, plenty of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. The bathroom, new for 2012, has a bath with shower over.
One of The Vine's best features is its charming Mediterranean-style courtyard garden which enjoys late afternoon and evening sun. A table and chairs and barbecue are available for alfresco dining and drinks

The Vine has its own front and rear gardens. The front gets morning sun, the rear is a beautiful mediterranean-style courtyard garden surrounded by trees and getting sun from early afternoon. Alfresco dining furniture provided makes this an ideal spot for drinks or dining outside in nice weather.
Available for short term lets from 3 nights to 3 months. Payment in sterling (British pounds) is required in advance - a 25% deposit secures a booking with the balance required seven weeks ahead of check-in . Rental includes all utilities, taxes, Wi-Fi and cable TV services, linen and towels. Payment options are by cheque (UK banks) bank transfer or by credit card via PayPal. Note, this is a non-smoking apartment and pets are not accepted.
The South East England region
Surrey is an attractive, affluent part of England with some beautiful countryside despite being very close to London. The area has been a major hub of London since medieval times with Henry VIII and the Black Prince Edward having their main residences here. There are several past royal residences and other stately homes in the area including Claremont, Clandon, Polesdon Lacy as well as Hampton Court Palace and the remains of Woking Palace.
The world's first motor-racing circuit was built in Byfleet at Brooklands where parts of the original track can be seen and where the Brooklands motor and aircraft museum is located.
The apartment is just a two-minute walk from West Byfleet station where trains to London run frequently taking 30 to 40 minutes to reach London Waterloo. The maisonette is in a pretty tree-line road close to Woodham Lock on the Basingstoke Canal and the small village green with pub in front of the station. It is only a few minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and facilities of West Byfleet. The village has a thriving centre with restaurants of many nationalities, a Costa coffee lounge, pavement cafes, Waitrose supermarket and numerous shops, banks and pub. Towns close to West Byfleet, include Woking, Weybridge, Cobham, and Guildford. Nearby attractions include Brooklands Museum on the site of the world's first motor racing circuit, Mercedes-Benz World, Painshill Park, Claremont Landscape Gardens and the RHS gardens at Wisley. West Byfleet is within a few miles of popular tourist attractions including Hampton Court Palace, Windsor Castle, Lego Land, Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventures. Wimbledon is a few minutes away by train or car.

"A great place to stay for a family of 4!"
Coming from Switzerland, we were looking for a qualitative place at best price. The Vine is a practical and great place to stay. The pics is really representative of the atmosphere of the place. We were 2 adults and 2 childrens (7-9). We really liked the room space, the facilities (wifi, kitchen, washing machin, car parc) and the terrace. The area is calm by day and night. The train station is in 2 minutes walk and the southwest train takes 30/40 minutes to London Waterloo (the perdect time to chill with your children and talk about London history with them). Olwen is a really nice person and we are thankful for her kindness.

"Great little place, homely and near the station"
Stayed for 3 nights with one young child. The set up of the flat is great for a family being away from home. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you will need. The TV and wifi are great too. The offstreet parking is a god send as parking was a little crazy on the surrounding roads.The flat is perfectly positioned for West Byfleet station and is only a short walk from the shops, including Waitrose. We used it as a base whilst rennovation work was being done on our house but would also be a great location for exploring both London and Surrey.

I'm sorry you had trouble with the Wi-Fi. Unfortunately someone had disconnected the router from the mains. I dont know why. We now check that it is properly plugged in when we prepare the flat for our next guests.

"Thought of all the small details to make stay comfortable"
This cottage is in a perfect location for walking to station and shops. Tastefully decorated and a kitchen that has everything you could possibly need to cook. So much attention to detail makes for a really comfortable stay. Lovely patio for the summer. Olwen was there to meet me and show me where everything was. One of the best rentals I've stayed in. Highly recommended .
