We are pleased to add another classic and high specification apartment to our popular portfolio of properties at the West Bay Harbourside development of Quay West and recently featured in the ITV drama series "Broadchurch". Slightly smaller than our other apartments and therefore priced accordingly, The Boardwalk was one of the show apartments in the complex and as such has been furnished and finished to a very pleasing standard. Sit and take in the sea air on the balcony with partial views of the colourful and ever changing harbour scene. The coast path can be taken to the east towards West Bexington or the west towards Seatown with stunning sea and county scenery along the way. West Bay is host to the renowned Riverside Restaurant that offers a superb menu with locally sourced produce and freshly caught seafood. The nearby bustling market town of Bridport offers many interesting local craft and antique shops. West Bay is a gateway to the 'World Heritage Status' Jurassic coastline of Dorset where the beady eyed hunter can often find exceptional fossils due to the wealth of exposed rocks. West Bay's famous sandstone East Cliff is a prime example where 180 million years of history is laid bare for all to see.

Accommodation: Stairs or lift access to 1st floor: Hallway. Lounge / kitchen / diner with patio doors to balcony overlooking the harbour. Bedroom 1, double bed, en suite shower room, hand basin and toilet. Bedroom 2, twin 2'6" single beds or zip and linked kingsize double bed. Bathroom with bath, rinse attachment, hand basin and toilet.

Services in addition to standard equipment: Underfloor gas central heating. Fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, 32" flat screen TV, DVD player, cd player / stereo. Off road allocated parking for one car in underground parking area, max height 210cm. Cot. High chair. Bed Linen and towel hire inclusive, please state requirements when booking.

The Dorset region

Dorset is a county with lots to offer, from astounding natural landmarks such as the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, the beautiful Golden Cap and the popular natural cove at Lulworth to the lively seaside towns of Weymouth, Swanage and Lyme Regis. A week (or longer) self catering holiday in Dorset gives you the time to really soak up the history, feel and beauty of the region, taste the fine local cuisine and enjoy a break from the hectic pace of town or city life.

West Bay

West Bay is a small harbour town two miles from Bridport and famous as the setting for the TV series 'Harbour Lights'. The bay has a number of kiosks, serving traditional fish and chips, often with locally caught fish. There are also a few pubs, cafés, and restaurants, the most notable of which is the Riverside Restaurant, which has been voted by The Observer as one of its top ten seafood restaurants.
