"Wonderful accomodation in beautiful countryside"

We stayed at Ramscombe this June. There were four generations of our family ranging from 10 weeks to 84 (birthday celebrated whilst there!). The 2 two year olds loved the trampoline, swings and slide. The house is fully equipped and like home from home. The swimming pool was an extra bonus but to be honest because the weather was so good we were out and about a lot so probably didn't use it as much as if we had had a wet week!
Plenty of attractions to visit (our young children especially enjoyed Watermouth Castle and Dinosaur Land) and the pub in the village was excellent for food. All in all would thoroughly recommend this place and am sure we will make a return visit.

"A fantastic holiday home which ticked all the boxes for a big family get together"

We booked Ramscombe to celebrate my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary, a group of eleven ranging in age from 11 to 72. The property had been recommended by friends so we had high expectations but these were certainly exceeded when we saw the standard of the accommodation ! Everything has been done to a extremely high standard from the décor, to the furniture and equipment. In fact the bedrooms and bathrooms were better than I have seen in 5 star hotels ! The open plan layout of the living area made the whole weekend very sociable, the table football upstairs was great fun and the teenagers certainly appreciated the Sky TV and Wi-Fi !!

The highlight of the property has to be the wonderful heated swimming pool where we had hours and hours of fun ! The sun shone all weekend so we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy the outside space, where more fun was to be had with the boules court and trampoline.

The property is surrounded by beautiful countryside and some of the party made the most of the weather with a very enjoyable walk up Bagborough Hill and refreshments at the lovely Blueball Inn, Triscombe. The whole family enjoyed a trip out to Watchet Harbour just a 20 minute drive away. We also ventured out for a celebratory meal at the local pub The Rising Sun. We received a very warm welcome and both the food and service were excellent !

To summarise we had a wonderful weekend. This really is a holiday home that could be enjoyed at any time of year by all age groups. We all said we would love to return.

"A great place to stay and perfect for guests of all ages"

I chose Ramscombe Cottage for this year's venue for our company 'Away Days' - a team of 6 of us spent four days there, using the time away from the office to plan for the year ahead.

We were all very impressed with the house - it's finished to a very high standard and spec, well furnished throughout and the kitchen/dining/lounge area was a great space for us to use. The WiFi meant that we could work throughout the day without any real interruptions and although we didn't get the chance to explore the surrounding area, we were kept entertained at the house with its Sky TV and indoor heated swimming pool.

Ramscombe Cottage provided the ideal location for our group but would be very well suited to families/children too.

"The perfect holiday rental for all the family from eighteen months to sixty eight years old."

A very well presented holiday let, we had a minor blip with the temperature in the pool but it was rectified immediately. All the rooms clean and spacious I cannot think of anything that could make the house better. Only slight disappointment the photo's showed a pool table in the games room but only a table football instead. Already recommended to a friend.

"Fun for all ages"

Ramscombe is a lovely house, all the beds were very comfortable, the place was clean and very well equipped. We all enjoyed the games room with its table football and lots of children's books. Showers were powerful and hot. Helen was very helpful and explained how everything worked. And the POOL was great we all loved it and swam every day the children thought it was wonderful to have their own pool.
It is a good walk up the hill to the Rising Sun pub,but well worth it the food was exceptional and the atmosphere friendly.
A really special holiday home, we all had a great time and our ages went from 66 to 3years plenty of space for all of us

"Totally fabulous!"

From start to finish the Ramscombe experience was excellent.
The booking process was very straight forward with a very helpful and friendly feel. We were met at the property and shown how the house and pool worked and were left with a number to call If we had any problems.
The house is stunning. A very very comfortable and luxurious place to stay with lots of mod cons. The house really does cater for everything and is a great place for children as well as adults.
The setting is lovely. There are amazing walks on your door step and a fab pub within walking distance! It is a perfect place to unwind and relax.
I dont think anyone wanted to go home! We will definately be returning!

"Excellent Lodge"

Excellent Lodge in very good Condition, Very Clean, Staff helpful and friendly, Location is a bit remote but not a problem. Amenities & furnishings are of very good quality
As the weekend was a meeting of our whole family the whole experience felt very welcoming and would certainly recommend it to anybody.

My only criticism is that the floor tiles round the the pool are a bit slippery when wet.
