Apartment Belvedere is a very spacious, family friendly apartment. Brilliantly located, so close to everything, yet not on the main high street. It has 4 substantial bedrooms, and 2 baths, one separate spacious T.V. room with stacks of DVD’s and a Sony play station. The living and dining area are extensive . A perfect apartment for 2 families sharing a flat or a large group of friends wanting comfort and cosiness.
We provide everything you need from sledges, games, books and fondue/raclette to enjoy that real Swiss experience. The kitchen is really well equipped and the “borrow and replace” well stocked larder makes self catering easy. Further more the village shop will deliver each day to you. The decor is light and clean, whilst being really warm and comfortable. There is amazing bed linen and really lovely beds Big windows with sensational views of the surrounding mountains and far reaching across the valley to Murren. The location is quiet but also convenient - it's just 3 minutes to cable car, restaurants and shops, and ski and boot depot. A perfect venue for summer or winter!

The Bern/Obwalden region
Wengen is one of the most beautiful alpine villages in the Bernese Oberland, in the heart of the Swiss Alps. The journey by train from Zurich, Bern, Geneva or Basel is spectacular, and the picture book train system works as a great alternative to the cable car. Lying at an altitude of 1300 m (4265 ft) at the foot of the magnificent Jungfrau mountain range, Wengen is the home of the International Lauberhorn Downhill ski race.
Wengen is also the starting point of the wonderful train ride to Jungfraujoch, on the roof of Europe - a highlight of any Swiss holiday.
