An 18th century cosy character 3 bedroom 3 storey cottage on it's own private driveway, with nice views across the valley. Quiet and peaceful countryside. A lovely base for a relaxing "put your feet up" holiday OR getting out and about exploring Mid-Wales and beyond.

Set on a quiet equestrian and dairy farm just 1 mile from the village of Llanfair Caereinion (bakery, butchers, pub, chip shop and the Steam Railway), the cottage is situated on its own private sloping path, attached to the side of the main “squires” house, but with complete privacy.

Renovated to a high standard with modern ensuites and double-glazing throughout, but retaining original features such as old beams and exposed brickwork.

An open-plan compact lounge / diner with Freeview, DVD player, Wi-Fi, adult and kids books and a selection of board games. A log burning fire for cosy fireside evenings. The dining table seats 6 and there is a leather massage chair to sooth away any hiking aches !!! A small well equipped galley kitchen with a separate small utility room with washing machine / dryer and downstairs WC.

The stairs from the lounge leads up to the 1st floor with a spacious main bedroom (double bed) and the second bedroom (double bed). Each bedroom has its own modern ensuite bathroom (with showers), wood floors and views over the field.

The stairs then lead up to the 2nd floor bedroom (2 extra long single beds) with sloping ceilings, skylight window and carpet. This bedroom has its own separate bathroom (with bath).

Off road secure parking for up to 3 cars. Storage is also available for bikes, kayaks etc.

Small decking area with 2 chairs at the front of the cottage, with a large private wooded field directly opposite the cottage which is for guests private use. Sit on the garden bench and enjoy the peace and quiet, whilst doing some bird-watching.

Some outdoor games for children are also available.

Towels and bed linen provided.

Oil heating and electricity included.

A complimentary supply of logs included.

Cot and Highchair available on request.

For those booking a 1 week stay - a Welcome Pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, butter, biscuits and a scrumptious pie & cream awaits your arrival.
