If you're looking for a luxury break then this beautiful holiday apartment in Mid Wales will exceed all your expectations. The stunning apartment offers everything you need for a peaceful get-away or romantic break with breathtaking Welsh hillside views. The owners have thought of everything and you can even book your own personal chef or masseur to make your stay even more special.

The apartment is open plan with a Lounge and kitchen downstairs. The lounge has a 32" digital TV, DVD player, Stereo with I-Pod connection and is appointed in all modern designer gear. The fully equipped kitchen is fitted with all the usual gizmo's.

Cariad apartment has an upstairs bedroom-spa with a massive window that has one of the best views in Mid Wales. There is a Double Slipper Bath in the Bedroom, big enough for 2. The king size bed is sumptuous and decked out in the latest designer fabrics. You also have another TV that can be watched from the bed or the bath.

Seperate bathroom with a large, modern shower.

The Welshpool area

Cariad Holiday Apartment is set in a gorgeous countryside location, 2 miles above the little town of Llanfair Caereinion which has all the necessary amenities including shops, pubs, banks and even a steam train. The busy market town of Welshpool is also within 7 miles, offering many attractions including castles and a canal to take you back to a bygone era.

Take the short drive to the stunning lake Vyrnwy, where you can try your hand at watersports and cycling or enjoy a leisurely walk and good lunch. Golf and fishing are popular in this part of Wales, too, with plenty of golf courses and a coarse fishing lake.

If you’re after castles and culture, Mid Wales has both in spades. Nearby Dolforwyn Castle, for example, was the last castle to be built by Llewelwyn (the Last Prince of Wales), between 1273 and 1277. Powis Castle, which started life as a medieval fortress, is a must, especially for its beautiful gardens and collection of paintings, sculpture, furniture and tapestries.

Portmeirion and the Mountains of Snowdon are within easy reach whilst pony trekking and quad trekking are available locally. Other popular attractions include Llanrhaeadr Waterfall (the tallest in the UK), the Centre for Alternative Technology and King Arthur's Labyrinth.

Wales is easily reached from the London airports whether you travel by train, car or bus. If you rent a car, you can get from London to South Wales in only two to three hours. By train it’s even quicker, just two hours from London to Cardiff. If you prefer to travel by bus, National Express coach services travel direct to both South Wales and North Wales.
