Shepherds' hut in the summer

Shepherds Hut | 1 bedrooms | sleeps 2

Key Info
  • Not suitable for children
  • No pets allowed
  • Private garden
  • Car not necessary

Sitting comfortably, in the wild meadow, above The Upper Rectory, is our beautiful, romantic Shepherd's Hut. The shepherds' hut is well equipped for your arrival - with water, tea and coffee and home made cake/biscuits

The stresses of modern day life are a distant memory here as you gaze across to the Mid Wales/ Shropshire hills. After you have enjoyed a 6 course meal (by reservation only - £26.95 per person), cooked by the award winning chefs at The Upper Rectory Restaurant, you can gaze at the stars from outside the shepherd's hut. A beautiful, hand made Welsh woollen blanket drapes the comfortable 4'6" by 6 foot bed, over luxurious cotton sheet and antique duvet cover, which makes the most of the triple aspect views.

There is a traditional outhouse adjacent to the shepherd's hut, with a composting toilet and hand basin, with warm water.

Please ensure that you inform us what time you will be arriving so we can light the wood burner prior to your arrival! (winter time only)
