Wells itself is within easy reach of Bristol, Bath and the limestone based Mendip Hills-offering attractions such as Bristol Zoo, the haunted Wookey Hole Caves, The Roman Baths, Cheddar Gorge, the SS Great Britian, Clifton Suspension Bridge, fantastic shopping and so much more!

Wells area
Wells is a bustling, beautiful market town with magnificent cathedral. The square outside the cathedral has often been the set for filming period dramas. The Bishop's Palace adjacent to the cathedral has a moat and arboretum. From the cathedral is a walk through via Beggars porch to the lovely, cobbled Georgian town square where there is a market twice weekly and are some interesting shops, cafes etc. Wells also has a cinema, leisure centre, nightclub, and many pubs and restaurants. The Mendip Hills surround Wells offering lovely walks, views, gorges, caves, etc.
How to get there
Nearest train stations are Bath Spa and Tempe Meads in Bristol, both offer bus services. A car would be the best way to make the most of the house and its area. Easy Jet and Ryan Air both fly into Bristol with regular flights from all over Europe. Please enquire if further information is required.

Further details outdoors: The property has a lovely peaceful garden with a seating area with table and chairs. There is parking outside the property from 6pm to 8am, it is possible to unload during the day and park very nearby.
