"Compact, functional very convenient for Wells and surrounding area."

Cottage has everything you need for two or three people. It was very well maintained, and very clean. It was so easy to take the five minute stroll right into the centre of Wells, which is a lovely city. Car parking was difficult, but we expected as much in the UK and both beds were a little too firm for us. We especially appreciated the welcome package which included two delicious bottles of wine. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

"Wonderful"

Cottage wonderful but - Parking tight for one small car at front. Lack of hanging space for clothes. on the small size, but find for 2 people. Good location for wells. Nearby Fountain Inn good for food. City of Wells wonderful.

"A cosy, comfortable cottage."

I stayed here for 4 nights. The cottage is very clean and comfortable. The owners have thought of just about everything you could need (except egg cups!). There was even a bottle of red and white wine to welcome us. A lovely touch. The kitchen has everything you need, washer/dryer,fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and oven and hob. The living area is cosy and warm. The beds are comfortable with lovely bed linen, however the second bedroom is very small with virtually no storage. The bathroom was shower only, but it was a good one. All in all a lovely place to stay.

"What a great place"

This truely is a first class place to stay. We stayed as a family and felt very comfortable and well catered for. The furnishings are very tasteful and the attention given to our arrival was second-to-none.

We have already recommended this place to others and would certinaly wish to come back. Wells is a lovely place and some very nice places to eat too. The cottage has a great central location and is ideal for touring around and discovering the local delights.

Thank you very much for a lovely stay and will return.

"Lovely cottage, great location."

We stayed at 2 Lorne place for a week in August this year. The cottage had recently been decorated and re-equipped so everything was literally brand new (some utensils even still had the labels on!) The cottage is really nicely finished, well appointed and the owners have been very thoughtful in catering for guests needs, right down to fresh flowers and wine waiting on arrival.

It is a 1/4 mile near flat walk to the Cathedral green, and a further few hundred hards into the town centre, so the cottage is ideally located for a stay in this beautiful city. Parking is sufficient for one small car, and alternative parking places are suggested in the rental notes.
Great cottage, and should we return to Wells we would be looking to stay here again!

"Beautifully furnished, excellent position, good welcome pack"

It isn't a big property but has been furnished to a high standard with great attention to detail. It was a very pleasant surprise to find wine, biscuits, juice, milk, fresh flowers etc waiting for us. The cathedral precincts are just a short walk downhill away and Wells has everything you could wish for including excellent markets on Wednesday and Saturday. We did self cater part of the time and the kitchen is well equipped. The owners are very helpful and friendly to deal with and have thought out their rental property very well. It is all fresh and new so go now! Only caveat is that if you have a car larger than an old style Astra estate you may not be able to park at property without blocking the neighbours but the owners provide details of free parking a short walk away.
