A must for those with young children wanting a total escape from the norm. Spindle Cottage is a real life 'story book' enchanted place to spend some time in North Somerset. The cottage is full of character, charm and without doubt a true labour of love. The garden has numerous play houses (and real play houses at that not these plastic imitation things). Inside it is a cosy, warm and full of nooks and crannies with wonderful detailing.
We stayed there with grand parents and our two year and not once did he play with the toys we brought with us as there was already so much for him to play with.
You are very kind thank you so much for your wonderful review. We look foeward to seeing you again maybe.

We were looking for somewhere to relax and recharge our batteries and found this place. Spindle Cottage is absolutely delightful. Angela has thought of everything to make it a home from home. Alban's skill as a craftsman is visible everywhere particularly in the garden where there are little cottages and a post office to explore. From the moment we arrived and were greeted with Angela's afternoon tea we knew we had made the right choice. Families with children will find this a truly magical place. Many thanks for a lovely week.
We are so glad you enjoyed your holiday at Spindle Cottage, that's what we are here for, to make sure your stay is the best it can be.
We look forward to the next time.
