The price shown is for occupancy of one Double Room with Garden View room only (for maximum 2 persons), with sharing villa facilities just as you would in a hotel and there are 4 such rooms. There is a Deluxe Double Room with direct ocean view (for maximum 2 persons) and that rents typically for approx. U$10 more/night. The maximum the villa can sleep comfortably is 10 adults in the 5 bedrooms, each of which has a Queen size bed. As rooms are rented on a double occupancy basis, please contact us for the appropriate pricing for the size of your group, which can include further discounts based on the size of party and duration of stay. We do also rent the villa on an exclusive basis ("Exclusivity") whereby only you/your party will stay. Obviously, this Exclusivity is guaranteed when you are a party of 9 or 10, but even if you are a party less than that but would like Exclusivity, you are welcome to contact us for appropriate pricing.

Ocean Villa Ranmanik is a uniquely designed 7500 sqft modernly equipped 5 bedroom (4 upstairs and 1smaller room downstairs), with en-suite bathroom in each, ocean front villa, with a touch of Mediterranean flavor, but enveloped unmistakably in exotic Sri Lankan architecture & tradition. OVRM comfortably sleeps 10 adults and it can be your own private oasis to get-away from-it-all, in the beautiful Southern Coast of Sri Lanka with stunning ocean views, with breathtaking ocean sunsets. It is located in the quaint fishing village of Talaramba, which is part of the world renowned bigger area of Mirissa and Weligama that is famous for surfing, whale/dolphin watching, diving, snorkeling, etc. This area of Sri Lanka boasts a great coastal holiday experience as good as, or even better than, any to be found in Asia. The Villa has been finished to luxurious standards, with all amenities including a large swimming pool (50'x25'), beach Volleyball court, A/C (all rooms), solar + electric-backup powered hot-water, abundant ceiling fans throughout, free WiFi, well equipped modern kitchen. The Villa is an ocean front property, in a secluded bay overlooking the turquoise blue-water Indian ocean which spans from the property until the 7000 miles away Antarctica. It is far from your typical noisy beach and town but still close enough to be in the thick-of-it if you so choose, while assuredly giving you a secure and restful good night's sleep at the end of day. From beach walks to world famous Mirissa whale-watching tours, surfing at nearby spots in Mirissa and Weligama, fishing right outside the Villa by casting your line off a reef, taking a short boat trip to dip-in for some amazing snorkeling/diving, etc. are some of the exciting activities you are bound to engage in, while holidaying at the Villa. Nearby attractions: beautiful & sandy Mirissa beach, exotic Weligama Bay, renowned Polhena beach & surfing and close to major cosmopolitan town Matara. Venture afar-a-bit and you can be at Unawatana Jungle Beach, Unawatuna Coral Reef, Koggala Beach Park, Galle Dutch Fort, etc.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Brian (the owner) a message.

If Brian (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
