5 bedrooms, 3 with en suite. Spacious living area to relax, plenty of restaurants and beach on your doorstep. Kettle, cups, tea and coffee will be supplied. The property is rented as rooms with en-suite , single rooms with sharing of communal bathroom or as whole villa. There are lots of restaurants along the road and the beach is on your doorstep across the road.
The accommodation is advertised at half price because the gardens have not yet been landscaped. If required cleaners can be provided for change of bed linen and towels for an additional fee. Travelling facilities can be arranged on the premises for a small fee if required but there are a lot of local amenties nearby.

The Southern Coast region
Climate & Seasons Sri Lanka Lies between 6 - 10 of North Latitude and Between 80 - 82 of East Longitude. It has a Maximum Length of 432 km (Devundara to Point Peduru) and Maximum Breadth 224 km (Colombo - Sangamankanda) . The Land Area is 65,525 Sq. km. The Area Excluding the Inland Water 62,336 Sq. km. The hills appear in the centre and the south of Centre. Sri Lanka is generally a warm country.

Sri Lanka has no marked seasons. A special feature is that the hot and humid lowlands and the salubrious hill country are separated by a few hours motoring.
Average mean temperature along the coast is 26.7 C (80 F) and 19.7 C (66.50 F) in the hill country. In Colombo, the commercial capital, situated on the west coast, the temperature varies from 26.4 C (79.5 F) to 27.8 C (82.12 F). Relative Humidity varies from 70% during the day to 90% at night. In the lowlands the climate is typically tropical with an average temperature of 27ºC in Colombo. In the higher elevations it can be quite cool with temperatures going down to 16ºC at an altitude of nearly 2,000 meters. Bright, sunny warm days are the rule and are common even during the height of the monsoon - climatically Sri Lanka has no off season. The south west monsoon brings rain mainly from May to July to the western, southern and central regions of the island, while the north-east monsoon rains occur in the northern and eastern regions in December and January.
Weligama / Mirissa area
Ideal location for surfers, Dondra is 5km (10 miles) southeast of Mirissa. It is in the southern most point in Sri Lanka and known as the city of god. The city hosts each year a historic 10 day fair venerating the Hindu god Vishnu. Not far from this locality is the 'Sinharaja Rainforest reserve'. For short day excursions there are 3 national parks which includes the Yala National Park which is known as Sri Lanka'sn best known reserve, and one of the biggest encompassing an area of 1300 sq km (500 sq miles). Mirissa is a great base for exploring Sri Lanka with many villages and market towns nearby.sri Lanka was occupied by the Portuguese in the 16th century and the Dutch in the 17th century, the island was ceded to the British in 1802. As Ceylon it became independent in 1948; its name was changed in 1972.
How to get there
Fly to Colombo airport and it is about a 5 hr drive from airport to your destination, which can be arrange for an extra small fee. SriLankan Airlines' award-winning direct service from Heathrow. Emirates/SriLankan combo flights, links to Heathrow from regional airports. Sri Lankan Airlines is offering an exciting new service for people living close to Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow. The airline will internalise the cost of return domestic flights on British Midland to London Heathrow, saving you between £70-90pp. The flights are subject to availability and be aware that connections can be limited on some lunchtime flights from Colombo, meaning you may have to stay overnight in London. If you prefer, you can also travel from these three cities through Dubai using a combination of Emirates and Sri Lankan.
Climatically the driest and best season is from December to March on the south coast. This is also the time when most foreign tourists come, the majority of them escaping the European winter.
