Situated in an area renowned for walking and beautiful scenery. The stone built barn offers couples a luxurious and peaceful retreat, well located for walking, cycling and touring the area and is 1 mile from the beautiful village of Wedmore.
The village itself is between the Somerset Levels and the Mendip Hills. Roughly halfway between Wells, with its famous cathedral and shopping area and Burnham-on-Sea with its golden sandy beaches and seaside shops and restaurants, with Cheddar and its famous Gorge to the North. You will be within easy driving distance of the city of Bristol offering extensive shopping facilities, an ice rink, theatres, cinemas, bars and restaurants. The historic city of Bath has much to discover with cultural entertainment including museums and theatres. After a long day exploring the area you can relax in the garden or enjoy a stroll in the meadow which joins the property.
Converted by the owners, this spacious barn is furnished and equipped to a high standard, offering ONE bedroom: king-size with beautiful high ceilings. Shower room: wet room with WC. Lounge/diner: with exposed stonework, beams and feature woodburner in a recessed stone fireplace (first basket of logs free), TV, Freeview, DVD and CD. Kitchen: with gas hob and electric oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and many useful extras. Outside: enclosed sun trap, private, sheltered, south facing garden with seating. Beyond the garden is a meadow which you are free to explore. Amenities: approached by a private driveway there is ample parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Regret no pets or smoking. Additional info: please note the accommodation is only suitable for babes in arms, you are welcome to bring your own travel cot and highchair. Location: beach at Burnham-on-Sea 10 miles, shops and pubs 1 mile.
