There is also a glorious sandy beach and there are angling opportunities on the areas rivers or lakes. Also, walks are plentiful along the superb Kerry Way. Further afield; why not take a relaxing boat ride to the Skelligs, Beginish Island or Dingle. For souvenir shopping the lively town of Cahersiveen is only 10 miles away.
